Yeah, I know.  I got the Delta variant.  It lasted a few days.  I had a stuffy nose and a light cough.  About the same with any other cold I've ever contracted.  Did the Vax help?  I don't know.  All I know is that the symptoms were short and mild.  Whatever.  Seriously, I get sick of conversing about something that is nothing more than the common cold. 

As for the original covid.  Never got it.  Got the vaxes. I also never shut down or stopped working.  Did the vaxes help keep me safe?  Probably to some degree.  My brother, who did not have any vaxes, got the real covid and was quite sick from it.  Never fully regained his sense of smell.  A 10 year old neice of mine, who wasn't vaxed, got covid and came down with a severe heart condition.  Took her over 6 months to recover, and was in and out of hospitals for nearly 2 months.

So, for every story you can tell about someone who got the bad **** from the vax, I can name personal stories of those who got bad reactions to the disease itself.  Pick your own poison.  Doesn't make no nevermind to me.  I picked my poison.

I even tried to sign up for the vaccine as part of a study before it was released to the public. But, I opted not to do that because of the possibility of obtaining a placebo. Here's the deal.  You are here trying to convince others 1) not to get the vaccine and/or 2) if you have gotten the vaccine you are medically screwed.  All I am saying is that I've been vaxed 4x and have had no problems.  I think it helped me not get the original covid, but have no way of knowing that for sure. 

As for what other people do, either getting vaxed or not getting vaxed - I really care about that as much as what brand of tampon some teenage girl uses.  What I really can't figure out is why you give a **** about what other people do medically?
