I try to separate things a bit. It isn't that simple, I know. Which is interesting considering Apple was thinking about pulling Twitter apps from their store...because just like the CCP they wanted to punish Twitter for becoming a free speech platform under Musk.
Now Biden's admin is taking heat for being pussies when asked why they are not taking a strong stand against the CCP crack down on protesters.
They sent out the ****** retired Navy guy to make excuses for Biden...NOW the dems DON'T believe in Lockdowns??? That's a major switch.

The Biden admin has been colluding with these tech platforms to harm their political opponents. And now their doing it in China too.DeezerShoove » 01 Dec 2022, 10:12 am » wrote: ↑ I try to separate things a bit. It isn't that simple, I know. Business and government are kind of linked.
Seeing what Apple does vs what a Biden lackey does makes no sense to me.
Have you noticed that roadrash is a stupid **** polack?
Elon Musk is an asshole. Whatever Apple decides to do about Twitter, or about anything else, including buying products that Americans won't want if they have to pay what it costs to make them in this country, Apple will do based on what is best for their business. Not what is best for Elon Musk or MAGA/Q-ANON asshole conjobs.
I don't see much difference from Apple, Google, politicians, oil companies, etc.roadkill » 01 Dec 2022, 10:26 am » wrote: ↑ The Biden admin has been colluding with these tech platforms to harm their political opponents. And now their doing it in China too.
People just want their freedom to express themselves and the left tries to stop that at every turn.
what causes self-interest? They are all monied, connected entities acting in a self-interest.
We, like all piss ant citizens of the world, can't stem the flow of their control a whole lot.
That's not to say we shouldn't, just that it all seems like one big **** sandwich.
Pointing out one of the condiments (Apple) on that sandwich is the same as another (Biden).

Apple has been appeasing cheap *** Americans who want what they want, want it right this **** second, and want somebody else to pay for it, by
buying 98% of iPhones, 90% of other products, and a similar percentage of parts for products assembled in this country from China. Do Americans want to pay what they would have to pay for their iPhones, iMacs, MacBooks and all the other **** they buy from Apple, if all their **** was made in Opelika? **** no, they would be screaming bloody murder switching to Android products and giving all their business to Samsung.
Waiting for Americans to demand to pay three times what they currently pay for their iPhones, iMacs, MacBooks so that they aren't appeasing China anymore.

Ricky Gervais smokes Apple CEO a little ways into the video.nefarious101 » 01 Dec 2022, 8:23 am » wrote: ↑ ****...Apple is all in with the CCP....wouldn't own one of their devices under any circumstance.....it's the center of gravity when it comes to being an authoritarian government's tool

So what if Apple restricts the Airdrop file-sharing capabilities on phones it supplies to China? Apple is in the business of selling phones. It is not in the business of spreading freedom to Chinese people living in China. If it does not restrict this capability, China will simply not allow Apple phones to be sold there. As far as I'm concerned, Apple is doing exactly what it should be doing - complying with foreign laws to sell its phones in foreign countries.roadkill » 30 Nov 2022, 11:24 pm » wrote: ↑ Apple HAS been appeasing the CCP...I told you so @Ike Bana !
"Josh Hawley Calls on Apple to End ‘Unconscionable’ Operations in China, Reshore Manufacturing to U.S."

China has never been a free country. Whether under Imperial Rulers or Communist Rulers, its the same **** country being run by a race of people who are genetically very similar to one another. It is basically @FOS 's paradise.
It's freaking stupid to think Apple is going to tell Xi Ricedick to go F- himself.
Conceptually, that is.
Well different races thrive in different habitats. Not being Chinese is quite important conceptually
You are such a stupid **** MAGA/Q-ANON polack.
And don't forget that this is all happening because Americans don't really want to bring all those jobs back home to the good old USA if their iPhone is gonna cost them more than twice what it costs them now.Skans » 01 Dec 2022, 11:44 am » wrote: ↑ So what if Apple restricts the Airdrop file-sharing capabilities on phones it supplies to China?
