Teaching a society why not having kids if you can't afford them is hopeless. Especially our society. Our government writes checks for some mothers per kid.

Seriously.

All of your graphs and money printing and whatever other crap you wanna do or talk about simply isn't working. We are a dying population, BECAUSE we are poor. Because we are far more poor than any African country with an exploding population.

This seemed to occur along with the loss of manufacturing in this country.
Thank you ronald milhouse reagan. He was the one who introduced the term service economy and oversaw the deindustrialization of Murka.

But let's think about what you are saying. A person in the 1% is only 1% of the population...so they would need to have what...200 children?

women cant do that.
Not eve a six titted she-boon could pull that one off.

the goal is to build a society that can reproduce, not tell everybody they can't afford to.  You are sounding like the NWO globalist

as techno abundance increases, it becomes harder to keep people in desperate poverty. Hence the bailouts, the extreme brainwashing etc.. tactics to control the populace become more insane and manic

America, generally speaking, has been founded on the idea that everyone should have equal opportunity to attain their own wealth. This is a beautiful theory, but hardly crosses over to application. As soon as we liberated ourselves from Britain, we used exploitation, not freedom for all, as a means to accumulate wealth. It hasn't changed. Therefore, there will always be more than 50% who left out to dry.
Children are merely infrastructure.

Just like a freeway or a sewer system, we all play for the **** things.

I agree that far more than 50% cannot afford it. And that means this country is literally dying of poverty. We are many times more poor than bangladesh, for example. All the silly measures like gdp do not matter...the bottom line is that the vast majority of people in the usa cannot afford to reproduce while in Bangladesh they can afford 6 children per family on average. Whatever the reason for that...cost of living...higher wages...whatever. they have a far superior economy to the usa.

I kind of agree with BV (gasp!). His numbers don’t add up.

1) First of all, 400k is not top 1%.

2) The guy admitted he lives off his savings, so his income is $0 technically. And if it is $200k based on investment income, then he’s at $3million plus’s in savings and can afford a kid.

3) I’ve made this argument many times. Even if you are minimum wage, you can invest enough in your 401k to retire a millionaire.  His GF is making bad decisions.

Now what % of the population in their 20s could afford to have a family without gvt assistence?

It seems like close to 0%

And if you are white from a normal family, you aren't gonna be getting gvt assistance.

What does that mean?? The whole country is dying of poverty.. that is all.
Young people in their 20s surely could raise a family without gvt assistance but, these days it would most likely be conditional. Couples working and conducting their behaviors in the same direction, external family help, ect, ect.
…..if you are earning 200k a year, you’re blessed.
