I would think the objective would be to grow your user base, and hence, your ad revenue.  But whatever.  There's thousands of forums out there.

I have been posting on both forums ever since it became somewhat routine for dot-org to go down. The cast of characters in each forum are different, and this gives a different "ambience" to this forum as opposed to dot-org.  Still, it's NHB, and when it comes down to it, that's about all I care about.
