I don't think that would work, an egg is too heavy for that but I thought about it, you can't see the bottom of the egg, maybe there an hole there and the egg is only a light shell, that could create suction I think, notice how she puts it in the water stream and then pushes it up.. I will have to try that.. not now, maybe tomorrow.. I will let you know...

I can give it a try... I think I figured the first part out, if you watch the video full screen and freeze it you see the stick change shape, that's not a stick, that's a swimming snake... I'm not sure but I think the second part is a snake too, they pull it up really slowly with an invisble wire but then they speed it up for the video so it looks like it's spinning fast...
