The price of a barrel of crude was as low as $35 a barrel under Trump because he believed in American energy dominance.  In effect, it was a massive tax cut for lower and middle income earners of tens of billions of dollars a year!!!

What is painfully obvious to all but you greenie wackos,  braindead biden and his dim-0-crap apparatchiks is that the renewable energy push and the subsidies for electric cars and their polluting electric batteries aren’t going to change our fossil fuel energy demands for years. So, it is only a question of whether we get the oil from here at home or from some of our major adversaries, such as Russia and/or Venezuela, *******.

So, braindead biden's energy plan is bad for jobs, bad for consumers, and bad for the environment. My prediction is that global and U.S. carbon emissions are going way up.

The irony of of all this is that the oil and gas industry that braindead biden and his greenie apparatchiks, like you, hate the most is benefiting from his foolish, ill-conceived policies.
Your problem there is that correlation is often not causation. The price of oil is not dependent on who is the president. The price of oil is actually set by speculators who bid on oil futures. Their perception of what's going to happen in the market determines the oil price. Those perceptions are based on a number of factors the presidency being one but there are many others.
Your worldview is simplistic and does not reflect reality.

Funny I thought everybody in every party screamed when gas went up with the possible exception of employees of the oil companies.

YOU are full of liberal ****!!!  Braindead biden blaiming Putin is just a scapegoat. Canceling the Keystone pipeline, suspension of new federal oil and gas leases, higher drilling fees on federal land and a dim-0-crap-led push for the federal reserve to implement climate change policies, all policies of braindead biden and his dim-0-crap apparatchiks, have sent a clear signal to US producers.

Analysts said braindead biden administration’s energy policies have discouraged investments in domestic oil production and caused the price of a barrel of oil to skyrocket.

If there’s a disastrous frost in Florida that kills half the orange crop, the market “knows” supply will be limited and prices increase. If the President stops oil exploration, the market similarly “knows” that future supply will be limited and prices rise. When braindead biden canceled the Keystone pipeline and rescinded new oil exploration leases on Federal property, it sent an unmistakable signal to the oil market that new, additional oil/gasoline supply would not be forthcoming from America and therefore oil (and gasoline) prices rose significantly. This was completely Biden’s doing.

So, do not tell me that the President has no influence over the price of oil, ****!!!

Exxon And Chevron Set For Record $100 Billion In Profits In 2022

By Tsvetana Paraskova - Jan 02, 2023, 6:00 PM CST

The surge in oil and gas prices will translate into record-high 2022 earnings for the two U.S. supermajors, Exxon and Chevron, with their combined yearly profits hitting nearly $100 billion, analysts say.   The two oil and gas giants benefited from the soaring price of oil and gas following the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Although oil prices traded below $90 per barrel in the last weeks of 2022 and prices increased on an annual basis by only around 10% last year compared to 2021, extreme volatility and the frequent surges above $100 per barrel helped all oil firms, including the biggest American integrated companies, generate record or near-record quarterly profits and cash flows.     Profits for 2022 would be at record highs. Chevron posted its highest-ever quarterly profits for the second quarter, thanks to high oil and gas prices and tight fuel markets driving multi-year high refining margins. For Q3, Chevron recorded its second-highest quarterly profit ever on the back of increased oil and gas demand and increased U.S. production. Exxon booked a record $19.66 billion profit for the third quarter, beating the previous record of $17.9 billion it booked for the previous quarter.
Under Trump they set a record for oil companies going out of business.

So, Trump was bad for the oil companies and good for consumers.

And biden has been good for the oil companies and bad for consumers.

So, liberals bitching about Trump and the low fuel prices experienced during his term in office doesn't make since since the same liberals are now bitching about record oil company rifits while the consumers are getting ****.
The twisted logic of liberals...

LONG-CONCEALED RECORDS SHOW TRUMP’S CHRONIC LOSSES AND YEARS OF TAX AVOIDANCE

In his first year in the White House, he paid another $750.
He had paid no income taxes at all in 10 of the previous 15 years — largely because he reported losing much more money than he made.As the president wages a re-election campaign that polls say he is in danger of losing, his finances are under stress, beset by losses and hundreds of millions of dollars in debt coming due that he has personally guaranteed. Also hanging over him is a decade-long audit battle with the Internal Revenue Service over the legitimacy of a $72.9 million tax refund that he claimed, and received, after declaring huge losses. An adverse ruling could cost him more than $100 million. The tax returns that Mr. Trump has long fought to keep private tell a story fundamentally different from the one he has sold to the American public. His reports to the I.R.S. portray a businessman who takes in hundreds of millions of dollars a year yet racks up chronic losses that he aggressively employs to avoid paying taxes. Now, with his financial challenges mounting, the records show that he depends more and more on making money from businesses that put him in potential and often direct conflict of interest with his job as president. The New York Times has obtained tax-return data extending over more than two decades for Mr. Trump and the hundreds of companies that make up his business organization, including detailed information from his first two years in office. It does not include his personal returns for 2018 or 2019. This article offers an overview of The Times’s findings; additional articles will be published in the coming weeks. The returns are some of the most sought-after, and speculated-about, records in recent memory. In Mr. Trump’s nearly four years in office — and across his endlessly hyped decades in the public eye — journalists, prosecutors, opposition politicians and conspiracists have, with limited success, sought to excavate the enigmas of his finances. By their very nature, the filings will leave many questions unanswered, many questioners unfulfilled. They comprise information that Mr. Trump has disclosed to the I.R.S.
christ ****, you drag out someone's opinion who has a hardon for Trump (sound familiar?)...I'll wait for the IRS to determine any nefarious behaviors...

I am 100% sure my CPA NEVER cheated on my taxes but he did take advantage of the tax laws to minimize my tax liability.  Anyone that does not do that, including Trump, is a fool.  Who wants to give any more of their hard earned money to a government that is corrupt and wasteful than is legally required?
