I don't have a 1911. EDC is a bitch with those. Great house gun though.

But it's what you get used to in the long run.
Basically it's getting used to the weight. Then there's the "getting dressed" every day.
That's a good challenge.
I see at least 3 1911's and a Glock.Skans » 10 Jan 2023, 11:51 am » wrote: ↑ That's a good challenge, let me see if I can guess them clockwise, starting at 12:00:
- AK - semi-auto variant. Legally a pistol, perhaps?
- Glock 10mm
- Glock 9mm
- Sig 9mm
- Armscor 45
- Colt 1911 - blue grips
- Kimber 1911
That's the guy. Thanks!

Should have bought a trunkful.
$649 now... Mine is exactly like this one. It's a workhorse.
It is a gun.
Looks like a Winchester light magnum special.DeezerShoove » 10 Feb 2023, 3:54 pm » wrote: ↑ It is a gun.
And is a mechanical object, ergo, a machine.
Like a can opener. Only louder.
Thanks. I too saw the three 1911 pistols and at least two Glocks. I used to have a Glock but the lack of an external safety made me switch to the 1911. And sometimes a revolver.Skans » 11 Feb 2023, 12:05 pm » wrote: ↑
I think I got more than half of them correct. Some were wrong.
Clearly there is an AK at the top. There are 3 1911's. I believe one or two glocks. And, I think I guessed at the pistol to the far right. Of the 1911's, the one with the blue grips appears to have a colt logo on the grips.
Yes, I'm with you on that!murdock » 11 Feb 2023, 12:11 pm » wrote: ↑ Thanks. I too saw the three 1911 pistols and at least two Glocks. I used to have a Glock but the lack of an external safety made me switch to the 1911. And sometimes a revolver.

I prefer DAO or DA/SA for a carry gun, as I keep one in the pipe.
Below was what I was referring to - a traditional manual safety:murdock » 11 Feb 2023, 1:01 pm » wrote: ↑ My cousin has a 45 Glock with a safety that blocks the little thingy in front of the trigger from being pressed.
