I got a yoga mat on sale for $5. I am going to cut it into 3 pieces 22" square. It's dark blue and after I paint it white, it should show the hits pretty easily. There was a video online about this but I don't remember the details. The goal is a self healing target that I can re-spray white.
Since reactive targets are expensive and throwaway, this might work. Depends on the type of paint I guess.

Sounds like a good idea.  Create a template.



Or, take a 2" x 12" stick with holes drilled through it wide enough to use a magic marker to draw targets - - you'll figure it out.

I like the idea of a template like this. Maybe roll some cheap latex on the foam pad then a contrast color sprayed with this template. I'll post a picture when I finally get around to this. Been busy biting my nails about the country going down the tubes. Seems like Biden took the stopper out of the tub. Next guy has to put it back in.

While that is a concern, its no reason for you to stop enjoying your life.  But, this has inspired me to write a new topic - I'll do it in the NHB forum since its more appropriate there.

I'm concerned about the country and even the world at large. But not actually biting my nails about anything. This stuff is way beyond me to have any effect on so why bother **** bricks about it? If a French Revolution on a global scale happens, the bastards have been asking for it for a long time. No wonder rich people are despised all over the place. Pretty much everybody knows they suck but hoards of people kiss their asses anyway.
I'm a tiny speck and want to play with my toys. No biggie.

France had a population of about 40,000,000 in 1800.  Only 16,000 people were killed during the "reign of terror" of the French Revolution.  That's 0.04%.  So, keep a low profile, your money and your toys to yourself, and no one will come to chop your head off!

It's also called "unloaded".

I've got a Desert Eagle 1911 that I carry in cooler wx and a S&W M&P 9mm in shorts wx.

What is "unloanded"?  Depends on how you define it.  With a loaded magazine locked into a semi-auto gun, some would call that a "loaded" gun.  Some wouldn't.  With a round chambered - I typically call that "round chambered".  Not just "loaded".  "Israeli Carry" is a well known term in the gun community which means loaded magazine inserted, but no round chambered.  Just easier to say Israeli carry.

No round in the chamber means the gun cannot fire. That's unloaded no matter how much whiny **** you spew. It's unloaded. Only an idiot carries an unloaded gun.
