I sold the Shield X and replaced it with an MP2.0 Compact 4". I was disappointed in the Shield X performance. Too snappy compared to the Shield Plus.
I ordered another Shield Plus. This will be my EDC.

I do not intend to attach a scope to this rifle. I will utilize the factory iron sights. This will serve as my "brush gun" and the firearm I transport on my UTV.

My everyday carry is an MP Shield X 9mm in an OWB holster at the 3:00 position.
The blacked out U shaped rear sight took some getting used to.
I sold the Ruger Scout. I am going to get a Ruger 77/44 chambered in .44 Magnum

On my hip, I carry "Big Iron", a Ruger Blackhawk 5.5" 44LC with "hot" SM Bear Load .45 Colt, 325gr Wide Flat Nose Gas Check ammo. This will stop any two legged or four legged vermin, including a bear.  Image

I like my shotguns as well.

Not gun related, I highly recommend Carbon Fiber Knuckles. I had mine custom sized, I have very large hands.

I used to see something advertised as "Sap Gloves". As a young man I wondered what those were because they seemed pricey and the description was vague. Then there would be a fit problem because gloves need to be tried on the work right. So I never got them and forgot about it. Went to a gun show years ago and saw them in a booth so I had to check it out. Leather gloves with what seemed like lead bird shot sown into the back of the fingers just below the knuckles. If you swung at a face it would be a real bitch. Concealed brass knuckles more or less.

I fired my 12.5" AR-10 using Federal .308 Win 150gr Power-Shok ammunition into a gel block, and the resulting wound channel is described as "extremely devastating". The cavitation from the entry wound extends nearly three-quarters of the way through the block. The projectile barely penetrated the opposite side, leading me to estimate a total penetration of 16 inches. What did exit was "remarkable". The expansion was substantial. I have obtained the tax stamp for this firearm, avoiding any complications associated with a "brace" for those with disabilities. It is equipped with a B5 stock. I keep this weapon in my vehicle at all times, as one can never predict an encounter with a bear or vermin of two legged varieties. The concussion is "sick" and the fireball is "glorious". Anyone interested in build specs, PM me. I highly recommend the LANTAC E-BCG as well. This is a sweet SHTF battle rifle/vehicle gun.

Yer…. Entertaining and I make you :x . Look at you chasing me like a little puppy begging his master for attention. I should piss on the floor, rub your nose in it.
