I don't miss him because everyone never stops talking about him. I voted for him twice as the lesser of evil on the ballot, twice. He runs again with what is showing, he will get a third vote.

I don't think DeSantos is going to run for president. I think he will stay governor at this point. doesn't matter if I am correct or wrong. Politics is the ugly sport of saving corruption another generation same as the other 5 institutions working humanities.

Nope.

Never was a trumper.

I don't like losers.

I don't like loser that say six months before a vote is cast it was rigged.

Don't like liars that say it was a stolen election even though he knew the truth.

Don't like the man that fund raised off a lie.

Don't like being lied to 30,000 times.

No thank you.

I miss all those things and more.  I miss the fact that when he was our president no adversarial world leader dared to mess with us.   Putin would never have invaded Ukraine (my country of origin) for instance.  Putin knew better than to provoke Trump.  And the fat kid with the strange hair who runs North Korea?   He put on his best Sunday smile and greeted Trump as though they were best buds.... but he also never fired off an ICBM  (probably he had a few icy BMs in the winter) but none of the missile kind left their holes.    And Iran?   They know perfectly well that Allah is not going to care much about their fate if they get too obnoxious.   etc etc....     It's funny those who don't like Trump always cite his various personality quirks but never anything really of consequence.   Let's face it.   Global leftists don't like alpha males and females.  In the old days all the alphas in the Soviet Union ended up in Gulags.  Leftists abide only complacent, agreeable, weak willed followers.  What his enemies really don't like about Trump is not what he does but what he is.  Plus he's not afraid of them.

I was in L.A. in the 60s.  Passing through.  My eyes were watering and I didn't know why.  I went into a Bank and the woman looked at me and said "It must be pretty bad out there".  I said "What do you mean?".   She said "Your eyes".  So, that was my first experience with SMOG.  Your eyes literally burn.
So, I'm no rocket scientist, but cars are belching out all kinds of unhealthful ****.

Acid rain, smog, rivers on fire, chemical dumps - we've had TONS of problems from pollution - and solved them.

None of that legitimizes making up stories for power and profit, stooge.

All of your global warming heroes live at sea level, moron.

I agree.  The first thing is realizing there is a Problem, like L.A. did.
The second thing is trying to solve the Problem, like California did.  (telling Detroit it wouldn't be allowed to sell cars in California without SMOG Devices)

You ... have failed to reach Stage One in the process.

California didn't do ****. The US Congress passed CAFE standards, and mandated catalytic converters.

Good government can solve real problems, fruitcake. But only BAD government solves fake problems.

The lie you believe and parrot has passed its expiration date. 50 million climate refuges by 2010 - didn't happen.

Sea level rise is racist, only effects brown countries -DEBUNKED.

Florida will be under water by 2010 - still there, fruity.

Atmospheric carbon is CRITICALLY low. Plants are starving - much of what is in your grocery store has to be grown in a carbon enriched environment.

You have failed to distinguish between bureaucratic agenda and science, fruity.

While air pollution from cars was a growing problem throughout the immediate postwar period, it was not an issue among automobile manufacturers, oil companies, or the public. Los Angeles, the "smog capital of America," was probably the first city to raise major public concern over auto emissions, and became the living laboratory for studying the causes and effects of massive doses of smog. The State of California also was the first state to establish new-car emission standards.

Multiplied by thousands of cars, the smog problem in Los Angeles was critical. California became the logical testing ground for several emissions-control devices and some pioneering legislation. Initially, neither the automobile industry nor the petroleum industry was a willing participant in addressing the problem. For its part, the auto industry was not interested in committing time or money to redesigning its cars, and only reluctantly and largely because of new legislation was forced to retrofit cars with emission-control devices. (Interestingly, little serious consideration was given to encouraging or requiring motorists to alter their driving habits.)

This equipment became mandatory on all cars sold in California beginning with the 1963 models.

I'm not saying california's government did not act - or even that it did not act appropriately.

I'm saying the US Congress did the job tthat the state of California was in no POSITION to do, Passing state laws about what new cars could be sold IN STATE was not going to fundamentally change the marketplace. FEDERAL CAFE standards did that.

And I'm saying good government solves REAL problems. Global warming is debunked pseudo-science.

It became apparent during the 1960s that smog was not a local problem, but a national one requiring the attention of the federal government. While California still led the way in emissions-control legislation, federal laws moved toward recognition of the problem. The 1963 Clean Air Act for the first time gave the federal government limited enforcement power over interstate pollution. The Motor Vehicle Air Pollution Act of 1965 produced national standards comparable to California law for the 1968 model year.

So long as the investigation is fair, the charges legitimate and the trial judge and jury are all impartial it's OK by me.

BTW did you know that Trump never accepted a salary while president?   He donated every penny to charity.
