Quoting myself here. I should point out that Christians aren't the only religions praying for this young man. I'm sure people of other faiths are praying for him. That said I still believe the US is a Christian nation.

Who wants to end food stamps? I'm all for eliminating them for freeloaders who are too lazy to work. I firmly believe God answers every prayer. However, sometimes we don't like the answer. I always add "...but your will be done, not mine." to my prayers and remind myself there are three possible answers...Yes, No and Wait.

dude...that is just a virtue signal that costs absolutely nothing.
it is very easy for anyone to say 'pray for damar' even if they dont believe god. The fact YOU seem to care that they just said that shows you how obvious the motive is for them to just lie.
as a matter of fact...as other people have pointed out...if YOU even believed god lol...you should expect that he would be saved by prayer.

It seems pretty clear that this guy did not resuscitate because of prayer, but because of what those doctors did.
There have been extensive scientifically designed experiments in which the effectiveness of prayer has been tested, and it seems that prayer made no difference in the rate of recovery.
Jesus cured perhaps a dozen lepers.
How many lepers have you seen outside the movies?
That is because medicine has almost totally ended leprosy.
To catch leprosy in the USA, you need to sleep with infected armadillos.

It's funny that people turn to God automatically in situations like this. Perhaps evidence for the existence of a higher being?
