WASHINGTON (AP) — Unfounded claims about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines proliferated in the hours and days after Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed during Monday’s game, revealing how pervasive vaccine misinformation remains three years after the pandemic began.

Even before Hamlin was carried off the field in Cincinnati, posts amassing thousands of shares and millions of views began circulating online claiming without evidence that complications from COVID-19 vaccines caused his health emergency.

While cardiac specialists say it’s too soon to know what caused Hamlin’s heart to stop, they’ve offered a rare type of trauma called commotio cordis as among the possible culprits. Physicians interviewed by The Associated Press say there’s no indication Hamlin’s vaccine status played a role, and said there’s no evidence to support claims that a number of young athletes have died as a result of COVID vaccinations.

For someone to prove that the vaccine was the sole culprit would take more than a day or two.

Sp covid itself can cause myrocarditis.

Ok, so it is possible. That is a start. When Jaylon Ferguson (DE for the Baltimore Ravens) died, people jumped on this idea that it was the vaccine. Well, the autopsy came out and said that it was fentanyl overdose.

COVID-19 infection poses higher risk for myocarditis than vaccines

The overall risk of myocarditis – inflammation of the heart muscle – is substantially higher immediately after being infected with COVID-19 than it is in the weeks following vaccination for the coronavirus, a large new study in England shows.

The detailed analysis of nearly 43 million people was published Monday in the American Heart Association journal Circulation.

"We found that across this large dataset, the entire COVID-19-vaccinated population of England during an important 12-month period of the pandemic when the COVID-19 vaccines first became available, the risk of myocarditis following COVID-19 vaccination was quite small compared to the risk of myocarditis after COVID-19 infection," the study's lead author, Martina Patone, said in a news release. She is a statistician at the University of Oxford Nuffield Department of Primary Health Care Sciences in England.

"This analysis provides important information that may help guide public health vaccine campaigns, particularly since COVID-19 vaccination has expanded in many parts of the world to include children as young as 6 months old," Patone said.

Myocarditis is the inflammation of the middle layer of the heart muscle wall, known as the myocardium. It is uncommon and typically triggered by a viral infection.







According to the American heart association you have a higher risk of getting mycrocarditis without being vaccinated.

Doctors are not saying anything about the cause of the problem and if they did say anything negative about vaccines you know what happens, ya get escorted out of the hospital and banished for life.  Whatever happens an experimental injection could not have been the problem or you know what happens, ya get banished and of course your representatives have negotiated a no law suit contract for the foreign made product on your behalf. Wonderful representation for large corporation groups, little or no representation for the individual citizen.

Life insurance "may" not pay for deaths linked to experimental treatments and so while you have no idea what the ingredients are because the experimental drugs come with a large blank sheet of paper the side effects were well known its just that you ignored any negative reports.

I don't think the issue was something to due to the legal repercussions of blaming a vaccine. To tell you the truth there were some workers at the hospital that I volunteer at that didn't want to take the vaccine. I was first in line though knowing the seriousness of the disease. It's kind of a catch 22 given you have those who are hesitant versus needing a certain population receiving the vaccine to truly deal with the illness. Things usually aren't black and white in life. Still, I think it's a little far fetched to say that Hamlin's cardiac arrest was caused by the vaccine. The level of side effects found with the vaccine is much much lower than the disease itself. The medical community is pretty certain of that by now.
