Isn't it? Look, I gave Kfools the benefit of the doubt on a number of occasions when the site shut down. He finally said that he wasn't going to address my question regarding what happened to the site for a month, but would make a video detailing precisely what happened and why it had to be shut down. Hey, its his site. He can do what he wants with it. However, when you ask for donations and people actually donate and post content to the site supporting it, I think they expect a little more than what they got.
Also, there was the whole Jinn Martini thing. Jinn was genuinely pissed because he donated money and he felt he didn't get what he bargained for. I went back to look at the "deal", and the fact is that Jinn never spelled out exactly what he wanted for his donation. He did get what he asked for, but Kfools apparently didn't like his demands. Some interesting drama, indeed.

I have a feeling that .org may be done for good. I predict that KFools will say that it was hacked or needed an update or something like that. The simplest explanation is that donations were not enough and he does not want to subsidize it. With no revenue streams, the sporadic and infrequent nature of voluntary donations is going to lead to coming up short at times.

According to the poll results there is no majority consensus on what happened. The biggest group of people believe that Kfools has just moved onto bigger and better things. Yet, the 2nd biggest grouping believes he is out of money.
I noted that @kfools is a member of this forum as well. Perhaps he can come over here and share with us what is going on.
One enormous problem that forum has is the amount of data it is hauling around like a full diaper. Makes things expensive. @Misty should have deleted more content.

It's his site, but it's your community, and you are not wrong or immoral to expect a bit of stewardship and to be disappointed when that stewardship is not forthcoming. Hey, its his site. He can do what he wants with it. However, when you ask for donations and people actually donate and post content to the site supporting it, I think they expect a little more than what they got.

I believe you - makes sense here. But over there, it seemed to have been negotiated in the open. I went back and re-read all of the posts pertaining to "the deal".
