Those lists complied by pop culture sources are always shown to be bogus when scrutinized. One of the first examples is Otis Boykin. The article give him credit for inventing the pacemaker. That is bogus. Boykin worked for a company that worked on the development of pacemakers. Boykin left the company and later sued them for his alleged contribution. This is precisely why I do not put much credence in anecdotal evidence. See, I knew you wouldn't like the list I gave you - purposely chose it for that very reason. It provides a list of black people who allegedly "invented things" to try and prove they are just as intelligent as white people - anecdotal evidence. Now, perhaps you understand my interest in genuine, peer-reviewed, data-published studies on this issue rather than anecdotal evidence. Just for the record, if such studies showed that blacks were as smart or even smarter than whites, I wouldn't care. I would just be intrigued.

those 'black inventor' lists are always full of simply blatant lies. This is because they are agenda driven.
the history of all scientific and technological progress of humanity is like 99% white. This becomes clear to anyone who studies such stuff. You can pick anything at random...say the development of comupters...or development of airplanes...or whatever. pick anything randomly. then see which people are mentioned in the history of contributions to that technology.
Its very overwhelmingly white. Like 99% is not an exaggeration. In fact not only is it white, it is overwhelmingly germanic (UK, germany/switzerland/austria, north italy, and scandinavia). SOmething like 30% of all technological progress comes specifically from scottish people, who have always had a tiny global population lol. And you cannot even argue some historical privilege about that since historically the scots were bullied by the english lol.
so yeah...just a cursory glance at history should be enough to convince anyone that something is special about white people.
and yeah, i tihnk the personal experience of everyone who has experienced blacks is enough to convince them that black people do not tend to be very clever. I mean...just go browse black twitter lol...check out the really horrible takes they always have.

Whether it is or is not is irrelevant to the point I was making. Anecdotal evidence is always full of **** and refutable by someone providing different anecdotal evidence. I chose that list because it sounded like it had some BS in it. A test can easily reflect the bias of the those who wrote the test.
And AGAIN, intelligence and talent of all types are INDIVIDUAL traits, and demonstrably NOT linked to skin color.

People of color does not refer only to Black people, of course.
It refers to anyone who is not descended from White Europeans: Africans, African-Americans, anyone visibly resembling Black Africans, as well as Native Americans, Latin Americans, Eskimos, Inuits, Aleuts, and Asians from any part of Asia except perhaps Israel.
It is a convenient and more positive way to refer to "anyone other than people of White European descent"./
