Yes, Mexican cartels can be stopped.  But, it would take a few things which we as a nation may not have the stomach for:

• use our military to defend our border from invasion and to round up all of the narco-terrorists that have infiltrated out nation
• wage a swift, ruthless, brutal, bloody war against the narco-militias stationed in Mexico - death to them all, leave no survivors.
• implement severe criminal penalties for distributing drugs to Americans within our borders
• Launch a brutal bloody attack on the Chinese narco-industry who is supplying the Mexican cartels.

Mexico is full of narco-terrorist organizations.  We need "Operation Clean Sweep" to go into action in the dead of night, with our military simultaneously targeting all of the Narco-bases inside of Mexico.  Then, blast a trench a mile wide and 300 feet deep from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific.  Fill it with land mines.
