No we don't! We know no such thing. We interpret some background radiation as some evidence that the portion of the universe we live in today began some 14 billion years ago. We can't even observe the entire Universe - only the observable universe.
No we don't. We have some evidence that the part of the Universe in which we now reside was part of some great expansion. However, we also have some evidence that we our Universe is nothing more than a simulation. A simulation which changes in scope and detail as we become more adept at exploring it. There are many theories, none of which are provable, as to the origins of the Universe. We know that the Universe had a beginning.
You've got it all garbled up in your little brain. Based upon the supposed rate of expansion of the observable universe (red-shift data) and the thermodynamic law of entropy there is speculation that it may end in a "big fizzle". And, before the "big fizzle" theory, there was the great contraction theory. Everyone has a damn theory, but no one KNOWS anything.Base on what we know about how celestial bodies are created and destroy themselves, we know that it will have an end.
False conclusion based upon bogus facts, and erroneous inferences stemming from those bogus facts. Therefore the Universe is NOT ETERNAL.
LOL! Matter and Energy are constantly changing form. Both chemically and sub-atomically. E=Mc^2.It is possible that there is a specific amount of energy and matter that can change form.
Lots of hands-on supervision required! Not something to do at a public, indoor range. Outdoor, shooting into a big hill/ridge, with a physical firing line.

Actual reality is people pretending not to know how living actually occurs naturally nurtured after birth to believe there is no such thing as physical absolutes in kinetic changing total sum present.Xavier_Onassis » 12 Jan 2023, 9:56 am » wrote: ↑ They cannot buy beer or pot and in some places drive a commercial vehicle.
What you think probably is not a good way to determine actual reality.

LOL! That's hard to debate. I only have 1 10mm handgun, but it is my 2nd favorite to shoot. The original Tanfoglio Stock 10mm. Second only to my Sig X-Five which is a 9mm. Nothing beats the accuracy of the Sig X-Five. The Tanfoglio is quite accurate as well, and has a great trigger, but it does take more time to get it back on target after each shot.

I have heard of no one wanting to ban hot wheels, nor have I ever heard this about Mr Potatohead.Cannonpointer » 10 Jan 2023, 3:40 pm » wrote: ↑

- Democrats call for the banning of travel, and the banning of HotWheels tracks being sold to children. They continue to push Mr. Potatohead as a positive role model, because he-she-it has removable parts.

If I were going to get a 1911ish 10mm, it would be one of the 3rd gen S&W's. For accuracy, you can't beat the upper-end Tanfoglios. The original Stock is a DA/SA - which I like, but most don't. It does, however, have the finest trigger in SA mode for a DA/SA that I've ever experienced. I think the Elite Limited and Hunter are SA only. Here's a Limited:Squatchman » 12 Jan 2023, 2:12 pm » wrote: ↑ I like the looks of that.
I've been thinking about getting a 1911 in the future.
Not sure if I want the classic Colt .45 or the Delta Elite.
Something a bit fancier than my Glocks.

I think the US military has demonstrated that 18 year olds can be properly trained to do this sort of task. I have no problem with this.Huey » 12 Jan 2023, 3:00 pm » wrote: ↑ The US is looking at lowering the age for a CDL:

Currently, truckers who cross state lines must be at least 21 years old, but an apprenticeship program required by Congress to help ease supply chain backlogs would let 18-to-20-year-old truckers drive outside their home states.
What do you think of the idea of requiring firearms training for every able-bodied citizen? I would prefer that to the present situation where untrained people can go buy firearms willy-nilly. Everybody takes driver training in high school why can't we give weapons training and put an end to some of these deaths?

Most people don't smoke dope. A tiny fraction of the population has a commercial license. 18 is mostly recognized as adult. A 19 year old is not an 11 year old.Xavier_Onassis » 12 Jan 2023, 9:56 am » wrote: ↑ They cannot buy beer or pot and in some places drive a commercial vehicle.
