OF COURSE he should resign. But I see no indication whatever that he will, or that the party will even ask him to.

OK.  That makes sense.  (let's see if McCarthy steps in to save his ***)

Personally, I think he should resign.

However, he will "hang his hat" on the fact he was elected. I understand he constantly lied his *** off during the campaign...and he shouldn't have done that. That said, it's not his fault that NOBODY...related to either party or in the media...heard his BS and thought "Damn, he looks awful young to have accomplished so much. Maybe we should check him out." I am still shocked a demoncrap didn't have the political intelligence to do opposition research. I am equally shocked that the people running his campaign didn't ask questions. Face it, the people running his campaign either knew him before he threw his hat in the ring of they didn't. If they knew him, they should have known some of his BS was a lie. If they didn't know him, they should have checked him out to know who they would be working for.

Resigning isn't going to stop the investigations and won't get the media to move on to someone else. Getting indicted will probably end his effectiveness in Congress. Why not say "Screw it" and let things play out?

I would say that then the constituents will be denied competent representation for their interests in Congress.
Yellow Cab buys a taxi that will not run as advertised. Would they not demand to return it and have the manufacturer replace it with a functioning car?

You buy cereal for your kid and it makes him throw up, or gives him a rash: then you ought to keep feeling it to him and "let things play out"?
Or perhaps you would take it back to the store?

Explain how your reasoning is sound.

Do you think Biden should resign since he lied about his education?
No.
Trump should, however, be indicted, arrested, tried, convicted and imprisoned.

Santos is a pathological liar.
He is devoid of 'honor & character'.
I do not want him on my team & I will not shake his hand.
I propose that we dismiss him & replace him with
someone like..........Lee Zelden.

If he is replaced at all, he should be replaced by someone chosen by the constituents, not some random flake suggested by the amateur Texan.

Why shouldn't he then?

Trump should be indicted for what exactly?
Treason. Sedition, felonious conspiracy. indicted, tried, sentenced and incarcerated.

All of the above, but not treason.  Treason is avery specific offense with very specific acts in very specific situations.  We need to quit calling stuff treason that isn’t treason.  If we don't, we diminish our argument and our grounds for demanding consequential legal action.

Zelden is an asshole 2020 election denier, which makes him no less a pathological liar than Santos.

Maybe you don't know the rules.
When a Congressman is to be replaced, the Governor will name the replacement.
Maybe McCarthy can reach a deal w/ Hochol.

Mr. Trump & I understand ......"The Art of the Deal".

Prove it.  I understand that's your opinion...but there is nothing to show he will not do his best.

The Senate representation of the people of Vermont has been completely incompetent since 2007

Trump also is a gun grabber.
 Are you?
Did you agree with trump when he signed the executive order banning bump stocks?
A decision that was recently declared unconstitutional.
But then again Trump wants to terminate the constitution.
Do you agree with that too?
