Guess what... all this water is only going to help them in the long run. More crops, less water conservation measures, more tourists...

If you really want to see the death of CA... you should find a way to have high tech die.

OH MY....

How long will it take to remedy California's drought?
Several years of consistent rainfall would be needed to help remedy the state's drought, Lowell Stott, professor of earth sciences at the University of Southern California, told ABC7News.How Much Rain Does California Need To Get Out of Drought?

yes, the gains from all this rainfall will be short term. A drought is calculated based on a moving average so one year data points do not change it altogether. Unbeknownst to you, the drought in years past has deterred folks from visiting. Dry, dusty, and insufferably hot is not all that pleasant.

Yes, they have population declines. I could drown you in data to back that up. They come to my state, NV. However, your wish that CA decline in population to a point where it is on par with Wyoming is not going to happen. You can lie to yourself and say that this will happen but the rest of us know better.

LIKE I SAID....2023 IS LOOKING REAL GOOD

More McCarthy holdouts added to House Oversight, Judiciary committeesFirebrand Republican lawmakers were added to top committees in the House despite opposition to McCarthy as speaker Kevin McCarthy has added more Republicans who initially opposed his bid to become speaker to two high-profile committees in the House: Oversight and Judiciary.

Fox News confirmed McCarthy, R-Calif., placed House Freedom Caucus holdout Reps. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., Scott Perry, R-Pa., Byron Donalds, R-Fla., and freshman Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla., on the Oversight Committee.

Firebrand Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., and Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., – who were stripped of their assignments in 2021 over controversial statements – will also have seats on that committee.

First, both of us are predicting... repeat that word again predicting. The future is uncertain. However, I live 12 miles from the CA state line and have a better feel for the state's pulse than you. Yes, they are losing population. Do you want to take a guess on the demographic that is leaving the state? Here is where you can show your true might on this topic.

California did not cause the rain. It did mismanage the rain.

It is experiencing third world problems.

You can screech that it is an act of God. Ooga Booga! But it's a failure of leadership. We live in a world where it is possible to channel flood waters. It just takes leadership.
