Guilty of what?  Biden didn't hold on to critical papers like Trump did.

Yes, he did.

Some of those "found" documents go all the back to when he was a Senator.

What was a Senator doing with classified documents in his personal residence?

Biden mishandled it in his own way. He’s not blame free.  He certainly knew there were boxes of stored government documents from the Obama years on his property and he would have known there were classified documents from time to time in his office when he was vice president. When the Trump story first broke he should have sensed the danger for himself if his aides had carelessly included classified papers in them, and had the boxes searched. A prompt return of them then would have defused serious criticism and later made Trump look even worse than he looks now. It was a time bomb Biden and/or his aides had to know might be there.

Second paragraph...

Some of the classified documents and "surrounding materials" dated from Biden's tenure in the U.S. Senate, where he represented Delaware from 1973 to 2009, according to his lawyer, Bob Bauer. Other documents were from his tenure as vice president in the Obama administration, from 2009 through 2017, Bauer said.

Thank you.  As per your link, I also noticed the following:

The president offered access "to his home to allow DOJ to conduct a search of the entire premises for potential vice-presidential records and potential classified material," Bauer said.

Something that Trump didn't do over a year.

The Trump case is irrelevant to the Biden case.

We're discussing the Biden case, right?

And Trump's case.  Some of you are trying really hard to draw a comparison between the two.   I don't blame you for wanting to leave Trump out of this.

Having a clearance to have access to classified material is one thing... but does that clearance allow one to possess the documents outside of the work environment, like say, at their personal residence?
