Hmmm... someone loves their fantasy. Getting rid of the Democrat party has a 0% chance of happening in the short term. Interesting how they have existed since 1828 and so by that logic, we were screwed starting in 1828 and everyday since then. Every one on here is the product of that "we are totally screwed" reality.

It would. And, that's ok. Because the Rinos would peal off and join with moderate Democrats to bring what was the Democrat party from the far left to center left. It does, however, mean the further right wings of the Republican party would likely cede power to the new center-left party.
