The GOP is shouting, "Live within your means.  Stop spending
money like a drunken sailor on shore-leave".

I am asking you to side with us on this issue.

Exactly. 7.8 trillion dollars for a one percent drop in unemployment. 

Not very cost efficient.

Tax cuts don't work when you are already running a deficit. 

It digs a hole. 

What you need is pay as you go. 

Paygo was a bill the democrats tried to pass in the 1990s. That made you have to cut or raise taxes to balance the budget if you wanted to spend.

That makes sense.  Why can't we do that?

Republicans don't want to cut 1.4 trillion dollars out of a budget to give their donor huge tax cuts. 

And they real cant do that. 

So no more goodies for the billionaires if it had passed.
