So I never do it. No one is making poor Skans watch NFL games. He seems to think that the NFL's existence is designed to victimize him.
But no, it is only a venue that corporations have discovered is ideal for advertising stuff like pickup trucks and beer.
I find it annoying when I want to watch the Simpsons on Sunday night and there is yet another damn game on, or worse, a panel of commentators blathering about the game that just ended.
Soccer is boring. You're even more boring.Xavier_Onassis » 24 Jan 2023, 1:09 pm » wrote: ↑ I find watching football to be really, really boring.

WELL, the cast lineup would be unbeatable. I mean, an Oscar winner for sure.Skans » 24 Jan 2023, 12:57 pm » wrote: ↑ I like "All In The Biden Family" Staring:

And which side of your family does you're not liking football come from?Xavier_Onassis » 24 Jan 2023, 1:09 pm » wrote: ↑ I find watching football to be really, really boring.
You're a special kind of boring pissant......your idea of fun is finding some cans of unopened tunafish at a flea market.Xavier_Onassis » 24 Jan 2023, 1:09 pm » wrote: ↑ I find watching football to be really, really boring.

I played some flag football on an intramural team in college. It's true that if you've played some football, even touch or flag, you will find the game that much more interesting.Vegas » 24 Jan 2023, 2:18 pm » wrote: ↑ I really love football. I used to play. Danny Bonaduce isn't doing too good health wise, so maybe get Shia Labeouf or Charlie Sheen to play Hunter.Skans » 24 Jan 2023, 12:57 pm » wrote: ↑ I like "All In The Biden Family" Staring:

It's gotta be someone more screwed up than Charlie Sheen. Maybe Nicholas Cage. Or, better yet, Johnny Depp.RedheadedStranger » 24 Jan 2023, 2:20 pm » wrote: ↑ Danny Bonaduce isn't doing too good health wise, so maybe get Shia Labeouf or Charlie Sheen to play Hunter.
Other than that, it sounds like a great line up!

It does have the appearance of something like the WWF these days for sure.Vegas » 24 Jan 2023, 2:18 pm » wrote: ↑ I really love football. I used to play. I still watch the NFL religiously. Football is a great game. I simply no longer like the NFL, the coaches, the commissioner or any of the players.
Definitely. It's weird to see one guy play for a team, then the next year they are somewhere else. I used to watch college regularly. I'll probably get back into that.RedheadedStranger » 24 Jan 2023, 2:31 pm » wrote: ↑
When it comes to football, I'm a college guy, and have been known to go sit in the stands and watch a local HS game from time to time. The kids play more as a team, where on the pro level the players seem to be more self centered than team oriented.

I might be OK with that. I simply hate the NFL, and mainly that woke idiot of a commissioner.Vegas » 24 Jan 2023, 2:58 pm » wrote: ↑ Maybe the NFL will go bankrupt, and some other professional league will arise. Who knows?
