I find watching football to be really, really boring.
So I never do it. No one is making poor Skans watch NFL games. He seems to think that the NFL's existence is designed to victimize him.
But no, it is only a venue that corporations have discovered is ideal for advertising stuff like pickup trucks and beer.
I find it annoying when I want to watch the Simpsons on Sunday night and there is yet another damn game on, or worse, a panel of commentators blathering about the game that just ended.

I am so sick of the National Football monopoly.  The sooner it goes belly-up, the better.  They are taking up air-time on TV where better quality shows like The Life of Sick Cats and Teenage Menstrual Cramps could be playing.

I really love football. I used to play. I still watch the NFL religiously. However, the NFL has really started going downhill. Not just because of the kneeling for the anthem. Things just aren't adding up with a lot of the games. I am started to believe it's rigged. Their ratings have decreased over he years. So, it appears that they rig some games or plays to keep the excitement up. Like reality TV. I know football pretty well. I know how the game is played, the rules, and the job of each position. There are plays and games that just didn't appear right. Just blatant missed calls, players deliberately lagging after a runner, unexplained wide receiver routes, etc...

I played some flag football on an intramural team in college. It's true that if you've played some football, even touch or flag, you will find the game that much more interesting.

Danny Bonaduce isn't doing too good health wise, so maybe get Shia Labeouf or Charlie Sheen to play Hunter.

It does have the appearance of something like the WWF these days for sure. 

As far as the NFL is concerned, I typically only watch the playoffs and the Championship pretty much. Same with the NBA. 

When it comes to football, I'm a college guy, and have been known to go sit in the stands and watch a local HS game from time to time. The kids play more as a team, where on the pro level the players seem to be more self centered than team oriented.

Definitely. It's weird to see one guy play for a team, then the next year they are somewhere else.  I used to watch college regularly. I'll probably get back into that.
