It's a Sesame Street flashback! One of these things is not like the other!!!
As we have discussed. You can't be a little bit socialist any more than you can be a little bit pregnant. Either you are or you aren't.
Pure *** socialism is, BY DEFINITION, government ownership and control of the means of production. Not a few aspects of the economy, but OWNERSHIP AND CONTROL OF THE MEANS OF PRODUCTION.
You should learn to control your hyperbolic impulses, Mister Honeypot.
Sad...your argument has devolved into memes.

You speak out of both sides of your mouth, get caught and have nothing to say. You act as if single payer is a fait accompli when not even the majority of DEMOCRATS support it.
You're done.

"Democracy" is a word. It is usually not capitalized when used in a sentence unless it is the first word in that sentence. It has a definition. .That definition from Webster's is:Beekeeper » 29 Jan 2023, 8:22 am » wrote: ↑ Hey SFB's. You've INVENTED crap that I never said and then tried real hard to attribute it to ME!! So take your propaganda from your SOCIALIST BS and shove it you arse!! Everyone here knows who and what you are and that's an obtuse idiot!
And there is no such thing as a "little d" Democracy. NO DICTIONARY lists that as s definition anywhere. But you and your nasty SOCIALIST ilk attempt to create definitions so that it becomes more palatable to the masses and you can convince people "its for your own good". SAME identical tactics that Marx laid out over a century ago.
ANY Democracy only eliminates the RIGHTS of the MINORITY!! Whereas our REPUBLICAN form of government preserves and encourages the minority and their rights AND opinions- something YOU want to eliminate totally with your "little d" Democracy ****!!maineman » 29 Jan 2023, 8:33 am » wrote: ↑ "Democracy" is a word. democracy: a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections.
Is the United States a democracy or a republic? The United States is both a democracy and a republic. Democracies and republics are both forms of government in which supreme power resides in the citizens. The word republic refers specifically to a government in which those citizens elect representatives who govern according to the law. The word democracy can refer to this same kind of representational government, or it can refer instead to what is also called a direct democracy, in which the citizens themselves participate in the act of governing directly.
That definition accurately and precisely describes and defines our country. If the citizens of the United States want fire departments, they will vote for fire departments. If they want snow removal, they will vote for snow removal. If they want the sorts of social safety nets that Social Security and Medicare - and Obamacare - provide, they will vote for elected representatives that enact those sorts of programs. And none of those programs requires complete unanimity in order to be enacted... just a simple majority. That is how democracy works. That is how the constitutional republic called the United States of America works. And given the fact that 50% + one vote can enact those programs, that means that 50%-one vote's worth of the population does not get what they want. And THEY can and do get all butt hurt.... and whine.... like you.

So Classified info being LEFT LAYING AROUND so Hunter could PROVE he was "the smartest man I know" and get that $83,000 a month Burisma (Ukraine) job!! WE HAVE THE EVIDENCE!! Now it's TIME TO PUT THESE TRAITORS IN FRONT OF THE FIRING SQUAD!!
And 10% "for the Big Guy" who ran the operation in the first place and it's none other than TRAITOR JOE BIDEN!!
On April 13, 2014, Hunter Biden sent an email to his business partner in Burisma, Devon Archer. Now, he sent this a week before his father, the vice president, flew to Ukraine to meet with Ukraine's prime minister. In the email, Hunter Biden composed a detailed memo with nearly two dozen data points about the political and strategic situation on the ground in Ukraine. What's so immediately striking and Miranda Devine pointed this out, having read the entire laptop, is that this email bears no resemblance to anything else we have that Hunter Biden has ever written. In fact, it sounded like something produced by the State Department.
There's no question that Hunter Biden used classified materials to assemble this email. Listen carefully: "The strategic values to create a land bridge for RU to Crimea," he writes at one point. Notice he uses the diplomatic abbreviation for Russia, RU, because he's in the know. "That won't directly affect Burisma holdings, but it will limit future UK exploration and utilization of offshore opportunities in particular." "It will also," Hunter Biden added, "further destabilize the UK nationally and for whatever government is in power and the US will respond with even stronger sanctions. Those sanctions will threaten the tenuous support of the EU, which does not have the political will to incur steep energy price increases" and so on.

who's putting words in someone's mouth? I never claimed that we were a "pure democracy". The rights of the minority are enshrined in our constitution which was democratically formulated and enacted. I have never expressed any interest in weakening our republican customs in any way. As the demographics of America changes, so do our public policies. I have no desire to thwart that natural process of evolution. Again.... you are tossing out the "socialism" word and it is not appropriate. I called you on it and you have been tap dancing ever since.Beekeeper » 29 Jan 2023, 8:40 am » wrote: ↑ ANY Democracy only eliminates the RIGHTS of the MINORITY!! America is a republic and not a pure democracy. The contemporary efforts to weaken our republican customs and institutions in the name of greater equality thus run against the efforts by America’s Founders to defend our country from the potential excesses of democratic majorities. American republicanism and the ordered liberty it makes possible are grounded in the Federalists’ recognition that non-majoritarian parts of the community make legitimate contributions to the community’s welfare, and that preserving these contributions is the hallmark of political justice. But, the careful balance produced by our mixed republic is threatened by an egalitarianism that undermines the social, familial, religious, and economic distinctions and inequalities that undergird our political liberty. Preserving the republican freedoms we cherish requires tempering egalitarian zeal and moderating the hope for a perfectly just democracy.
You know this will backfire on you. What people do for their children making them exceptional to life being equally divided in the moment here and 99% of people won't admit why. Capitalizing off reasonable doubt protected by rule of law granting privileges to those in charge with diplomatic immunity from foreign and domestic rule of law scenarios.Beekeeper » 25 Jan 2023, 9:08 am » wrote: ↑ OH MY!!

I support expanding medicare to reach more people. Medicare is an effective and efficient program and American seniors love it. I can recall, during the tea party heyday of 2010, there was a rally and some old geezer had a sign that read, "Keep your socialist hands off my Medicare". Classic!! Nothing in Medicare makes doctors employees of the state. Nothing in Medicare places hospitals under government ownership. Medicare for all is simply an expanded safety net, which citizen in a representative democracy can vote to approve. It isn't SOCIALISM no matter how much you whine to the contrary.
