Plowing snow is not socialism.  Putting out fires is not socialism.  Building roads, bridges and dams is not socialism.  They are all activities that citizens in a free society have decided are better accomplished collectively than individually.

Biden got more votes than Obama did in 2008. Even trump got more votes than he did in 2016. in fact 10 million more people voted and it was still less than 70% registered voters voted.

If you are any kind of person proficient in math, 85 million and 81 million both barely covers half the citizens in this country legally. Now where the **** does either side say they are the majority of people living as occupying time here now?

Hey Puss....Not in the actual - CORRECT - sense of the word. Socialism, accurately defined,  is a form of government where the central government owns and manages the means of production.  A country cannot be a little bit socialist any more than a woman can be a little bit pregnant. Either you are or you aren't.  Either government OWNS and OPERATES the means of production for the economy or it doesn't.  The NYSE is, this very morning, selling shares of ownership in the means of production for our country across every single sector of our economy.  People own the means of production for America, not the government.  We are a capitalist country that has decided, as most countries have around the world since the time we crawled out of caves and started forming villages, that some functions in life are better handled collectively rather than individually.  Shared control of the cost of snow removal or fire/crime prevention, or bridge/tunnel/canal construction and maintenance or healthcare, or water/sewerage treatment is not SOCIALISM, it is just smart capitalism.  Uncle Sam is not going to buy up Microsoft or Tyson Foods, or John Deere, or General Motors or LL Bean or Victoria's Secret.  Uncle Sam is not going to force farmer John to sell his farm to the government and plant only what he is told to plant.  We have a capitalist economy.  Period.

Except you can't show where full blown socialism is anywhere on the horizon.... there is ZERO plan for government ownership and control of the means of production.

ZERO

And all you have done is show that you use the words "socialist" and "fascist" as hyperbolic epithets with little or no sense of their true meaning.

No, duckmouth, tis YOU that has taken 100% of all I posted and tried to say I said one thing, when the EXACT OPPOSITE has been said and written!! So for that, you need to go BACK on the IGNORE function and stay there until you learn how to PROPERLY COMPREHEND WHAT HAS BEEN SAID!!! NEVER ONCE did I say that this nation was Socialist. BUT there are aspects that YOUR SIDE WANTS that is turning this nation into a SOCIALIST NATION!!

Just wait until the OIL AND ENERGY PRICES skyrocket and the push to take them over is UNDERWAY!! And its already been said that it's in the making.....

Liberals are spoiled children, miserable, unsatisfied, demanding, ill-disciplined, despotic & useless. Liberalism is a philosophy of sniveling brats ~O'Rourke

The Democratic Party seems intransigent on their position of keeping the party ‘woke,’ detached, exclusionary, and totally insane.

Your refusal to understand that you use the term Socialism incorrectly is getting annoying.

No one in the mainstream of the democratic party wants to have the US government take control of the ownership and means of production in our economy.    Nobody wants to buy up all the farmland and have the farmers be government employees who grow what the federal government tells them to grow.  Nobody wants to buy up all the car companies and only build the sorts of super energy efficient cars that the government choses to built.  Nobody wants to buy Purdue or Tyson and have the government employing poultry workers.  THAT would be socialism.

There is nothing socialist about snow plowing.  There is nothing socialist about fire protection.  There is nothing socialist about community policing.  There is nothing socialist about government subsidized healthcare.   There is nothing socialist about municipally owned water systems or sewerage systems or state owned electrical distribution systems.

The democratic party has no designs on having the US government buy out every corporation in America and make the NYSE a relic of a bygone capitalist era.  We support and defend capitalism.   The NYSE is selling shares of the ownership in the American economy every day,  Democrats do not want to stop that.

We have, as a society, come to figure out that certain aspects of our communal lives are most effectively and efficiently handled by government.  All of the things above in bold are such aspects.

Until you lose the hyperbole and the willful ignorance and the insulting epithets, maybe you SHOULD just put me on ignore.

this is a statement covering any social narrative promising better tomorrrows than genetics sustains current popuilaiton changes never same ancestors reproduced a second time inception to extinction of this species 8 billion replacements occupying space now.

I can supply a 30 to 1 compression ratio of DNA donations by rule of 72 compounding effects that affect each lifetime here that shows how and why life is specifically the singularity by numbers per species in this atmosphere any rotation it remains 3rd rock from the star.

I can imagine it would be fun, on a snowy afternoon,  to curl up in front of a nice fire, with a nice glass of tequila, and smoke a bowl of whatever @Nostradamus' omh  smokes!
