As long as you grab correctly on the first try, have a strong grip and are stronger than the attacker.  If all are not true, there isn't going to be a second chance...you'll just be the next victim.

11 people died...the only people who died or were injured with Kyle were the perps. If Kyle had been at the first attack it's possible no one would have died...except the perp. BTW Mr. X...Kyle was NOT the perp...your people were and one of them had a gun.

The stupidity of lefties is insufferable. It is extremely rare that anyone would know how to do this. Good for him, ok...but this is an anomaly. I would like to see a 100-pound woman or an elderly person try it. Even a strong healthy person would probably get shot along with the others if they tried.

God man. It's impossible for the left to understand how stupid they are, due to the reason that they are stupid.
