Naked Georgia man leads police on a high speed chase, after stealing an ambulance.

Every day, there is somebody doing something that makes no sense. Right outside of Atlanta, motorists noticed an ambulance that was driving erratically. A closer look from people on the highway saw people discover the man didn’t have any clothes on. As a result, the authorities were called, and the man ended up leading them on a chase.

It turns out, the man was 48-year-old, Bradley Jermaine Baker. Exactly what led to this situation is unknown. However, once the law enforcement officers got behind him, he did begin to run. Given what is going on with Black people and the police, his instincts likely kicked in and he contuined to try and get away. At the same time, he stole a vehicle. Not only did he steal a vehicle, he stole a medical vehicle.

Bradley Jermaine Baker stole an ambulance, while naked, but somehow wasn’t caught until he was on the road.Upon his arrest, law enforcement discovered outstanding warrants for his arrest. In addition, he had drugs and alcohol in his system. As a result, he was arrested for a DUI.

In a recent court filing, Alec Baldwin's lawyer writes: "While the cast and crew were rehearsing a scene for the Western film 'Rust,' a firearm held by Mr. Baldwin discharged a live round that hit Ms. Hutchins and director Joel Souza."

Alec Baldwin continues to claim that he never fired the gun carrying the bullet that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film "Rust."   The prosecution....claims in the charging documenta to have photos from set that day which show Baldwin with "his finger on the trigger" and "manipulating the hammer."

HIPPO SWALLOWS 2-YEAR-OLD BOY, RESCUED BY WITNESS

The boy was playing at his home about half a mile from Lake Edward in southwest Uganda on December 4, the Uganda Police Force said in a news release. A hippo left the lake and attacked the boy, swallowing his head and half his body. A nearby witness saw the attack and began throwing rocks at the animal.  The stones scared the hippo, which released the boy and returned to the lake, police said.

The boy was rushed to a clinic and treated for injuries on his hand, officials said.  He “recovered fully and was discharged,” police said.  This is the first time “a hippo strayed out of the Lake Edward and attacked a young child,” police said.  Officials reminded residents near animal habitats that “wild animals are very dangerous” and urged them to “remain vigilant.”

Oscar Mayer Wienermobile falls victim to catalytic converter theft during Las Vegas stop

The iconic Oscar Mayer Wienermobile was hit by thieves at some point Thursday night while located in the parking lot of the Sonesta Suites on Paradise Road in Las Vegas. The burglary was discovered Friday morning when the crew couldn't get the wiener on wheels to start ahead of a 10 a.m. appearance.

The 27-foot long Mayer mobile was ultimately towed to the Penske Truck Rental at West Hacienda Avenue and South Decatur Boulevard, where mechanics installed a "temporary" catalytic converter. Las Vegas outlets reported that Sonesta Suites corporate said something about something is looking into the theft. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department reportedly said early Friday it had not received a report of theft involving the Weinermobile.

The wiener mustered its way to two more stops this past weekend and is reportedly still in operation.

And now for a happy ending story:

California catalytic converter theft victim ran over suspect.

Los Angeles Sheriff's Department said a woman sleeping in her Ford 4x4 Excursion in a Target parking lot in Palmdale awoke to the sound of someone sawing off her catalytic converter. The woman then started her vehicle and put it in reverse, at which point she felt a "bump" and immediately stopped her vehicle, locked her doors and called 911 for assistance, LASD told Fox News Digital.

Another vehicle had parked right next to hers contained three other suspects described as two Hispanic women and one Hispanic male sitting inside while the fourth — later identified as 42-year-old Alfredo Ramos — was beneath her car, allegedly attempting to steal the converter. Authorities responded to the scene immediately, detaining the three remaining suspects in the other vehicle and transported Ramos to Antelope Valley Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

LASD plans to present the case as a justifiable killing of a thief to the district attorney's office and is suggesting official charges of conspiracy to commit grand theft auto against the three surviving suspects. No charges will be filed against Mister Ramos.

Two California lawmakers have introduced a bill that would ban the use of police canines for arrests, apprehensions and crowd control, saying officers have long targeted and brutalized Americans of color with police dogs. Corey Jackson (D-Perris) and Ash Kalra (D-San Jose) introduced AB 742 to "end a deeply racialized and harmful practice that has been a mainstay in America's history of racial bias and violence against Black Americans and people of color," according to a news release.

"This bill marks a turning point in the fight to end this cruel and inhumane practice and build trust between the police and the communities they serve."

Injuries caused by police canines made up nearly 12% of the police use-of-force incidents that led to serious injury or death statewide in 2021, according to statistics released by the California Department of Justice. Black and Latino people accounted for about two-thirds of the use-of-force cases involving canines.

Maybe POCs get bit more because they commit more crime and resist more.  Also, no mention of WIA officers' count.
 

An off-duty Chicago cop warned a potential robber she’d kill him, and then followed through on that pledge when she fired three shots at the man, footage from the wild scene showed. The police officer issued the threat on Jan. 17 after the suspect appeared to grab her gun minutes after she broke up a fight between four people – including the alleged thief, officials said.

She has not been charged in the shooting, though Smith’s family is suing the city and officer over the fatal encounter for $10 million, the newspaper reported.

The video circulating on social media begins with several district police officers detaining two students as another student walks by recording with his cellphone when Elfberg yells to the student, “You want next, dude?”

It’s so upsetting to watch the video and to have such a strong reaction because they're children,” Juhl said, “and to have that mixed with this feeling of, ‘Thank God, they got it on video.’”

...Hamm’s lawyer, Columbia University Law School Professor Bernard Harcourt.... referred to Hamm as a “generous, giving spirit” and said he had a “positive attitude” despite the execution that was not completed.

Hamm was on death row for the 1987 murder of Patrick Cunningham, a Cullman hotel clerk, during a robbery.

Macketeers my point here is another example of America drifting further from the shoreline of sanity...passing this off as a interesting news story.

Out of my just when you thought you heard it all file...listen to the joy in the author's voice; starting each sentence with Bruce.  By the end of the article, I feel as if I know Bruce personally.  The author is retelling the story with glee... for the world to know all about it.
