I met one kid who was hanging around a job site sniveling about being constantly pulled over and searched by cops. He had a vanity plate that said, "ON PAROLE" - proud of that, the young stupe was. I counseled him to drop the plate, as it was an invitation to be searched. It was, in and of itself, probable cause, as parolees are in state custody 24/7. Long and short, he got rid of the vanity plate and returned a few months later to roundly celebrate my genius and express his great gratitude. Never saw the kid after that, but I doubt he went on to great things.
