I cannot trust a citizen or illegal immigrant either to be honest about living in real time evolving displacement in plain sight. Citizens are not supposed to “serve and protect”.  The police are and we can’t trust them to do that.

Well, yes - white people are still the majority, so it's no surprise that white people commit the majority of crime. What is surprising is that black people are about 13%  of the populace and account for nearly 50% of all crime. Per-capita, for black people the felony rate is highly disproportionate
