Here is a sampling of motorcycles that I would bet no Liberal would ever own....

My VESPA gang beat back Cannon's Mo-Ped gang years ago, and sent them running to Mommy!

When I was only 14, I was riding with a Harley outlaw biker, and we were Hell on Wheels! :ninja:

Hey, I have a very conservative friend who used to ride a vespa.  I sort of chuckled at him thinking that he didn't know **** about motorcycles.  Well, he and I went to a motorcycle race and I learned that he and his brother used to professionally race dirt-bikes, and he could (but wouldn't) wrench on a bike as good as any mechanic.

My dear old friend, Don Harris, the guy who remade the Pelton Wheel, won the fastest land speed record back in the 60's for a motorcycle at Bonneville Salt Flats. He's at the Pomona Fuel Dragster races right now. He's 80 now, but racing is in his blood!

I've always wanted to go to the salt flats.  I hear they have lots of rules now.

As a kid in the 50's the Salt Lake was fun!
You could float forever and never sink. And it was fun to walk on the flats and watch your feet go out from under you. Back then they had an amusement park with one of the highest roller coasters there.
It was scary, Mom and dad wouldn't let me ride it!
It collapsed in 1957.

That is a fib. The Weekenders always stand their ground. When we took off like that, it was because we had some appointments.

Incorrect. There were six of your fellas and six of ours. We split out of there on our mopeds because we had a fight scheduled with 12 guys. There was no way we were going to waste our time on a smaller fight.

As far as the followup opportunities, a lot of our guys are on bowling leagues or in cribbage clubs. It's not our fault we couldn't fit your gang into our schedule.

Don't ever underestimate The Weekenders. One of our guys has a tattoo. One of our guys actually did time. He was arrested on a bad check back in 82. Spent the whole weekend in jail before his wife could bail him out so he could make good on the check.

Mind you, we voted him out when we found out he had spent a weekend at the Gray Bar Hotel. We're wild, but we're not crazy. But it goes to show you, when you mess with the Weekenders, you don't know WHO you might be fooling with.

Maybe you think you got away with something. Then you notice - hey, my street light's out. What the heck? Yeah - what the heck is right. Fool with us, things can get mighty eerie. All kinds of riddles start occuring.  :ninja:

I rode around the island on a rented 300 cc moped on a recent visit to Tenerife in the Canaries. I **** you not - never knew mopeds that size even existed. It was a blast.

ImageMine was black.

Personally, if I'm going to have a 350, I like what Honda made in the '70's a bit better:

4 cylinders and it looks like a real motorcycle!  CB350 - ahead of its time.

I was just happy to have a little power, tooling around the island. It would have sucked to be limited to the usual moped.

A moped with 300cc should be able to scoot pretty well and even hit speeds around 90mph. That is if it is geared to do so.  I have to say, I looked at that scooter and the engine doesn't look big enough to have a true 300cc engine.
