While this is true, it also is more likely to hit people and objects you don't intend on hitting. A couple of rounds from an AR, if you don't hit your target, isn't going to mess up your house. Several rounds from a 12 gauge will.Justthetruth » 01 Feb 2023, 12:57 pm » wrote: ↑ Shot guns are easier to hit the intruder than a semi auto rifle at close range.
This is what it is about:Blackvegetable » 01 Feb 2023, 1:08 pm » wrote: ↑ So this has nothing to do with home or self defense?
So, apropos of nothing, he suddenly tells women they should buy shotguns?Huey » 01 Feb 2023, 1:07 pm » wrote: ↑ Nope, never was. Your failure to comprehend has bit you in the ***. It was his advice to women that was the point which was clearly stated in my first post about it, Kydex.
Take the L and move on.
And he should address what happens after the first shot. If she is still holding the weapon.Skans » 01 Feb 2023, 1:14 pm » wrote: ↑ While this is true, it also is more likely to hit people and objects you don't intend on hitting. Regardless, it's not up to old-man, senile Joe Biden to tell Men or Women what kind of gun they should use to protect themselves. His advice is ridiculously stupid. Did you catch that he was suggesting that a woman use a DOUBLE BARREL shotgun? I could hand a woman my O/U Beretta 12 Gauge and a semi-auto 12 gauge and it would be MUCH easier for a woman to figure out how to use the semi-auto.
Semi-auto -- pull the bolt back, let it go and then just pull the trigger. Or, if you keep a round in the chamber ready to go, flip the safety off and just pull the trigger.
Double-Barrel shotgun:And, what's next? @Justthetruth - I want you to tell me what the woman must now do to shoot it.
- find the lever to release the barrel assembly from the receiver.
- Load 2 shells in, one in each barrel
- close the barrels (not easy to do if you've never done this before
I am glad to see you finally caught up with the conversation.Blackvegetable » 01 Feb 2023, 1:15 pm » wrote: ↑ So, apropos of nothing, he suddenly tells women they should buy shotguns?
And this is of sufficient consequence that someone produced a video, and thousands of slack jaws eagerly rushed to the nipple of BDS for another fix....and now demand that the rest of us join their group suck..
This exchange is what happens when you try to think. You lose.Blackvegetable » 01 Feb 2023, 1:05 pm » wrote: ↑ I thought the point was "effectiveness for self defense"..
Assuming, of course, that she isn't just some loser ammosexual.
I thought you may have a point, as you clearly had someone's arm up your ***.Huey » 01 Feb 2023, 1:19 pm » wrote: ↑ This exchange is what happens when you try to think. You lose.

But, no....just more utterly pointless BDS, on command.....from an Influencer whose name you dare not speak.
Go ahead and explain why we are sheep…Blackvegetable » 01 Feb 2023, 1:31 pm » wrote: ↑ Post the OP.
Why the L?
Skans just demonstrated what sheep you two are...
But what Biden said, as demonstrated, makes sense.Huey » 01 Feb 2023, 1:31 pm » wrote: ↑ LMAO!
I do have a point. You have to create a thread based on what someone told you Trump said. I made multiple posts on what Biden actually said.
You are fighting a losing battle against the obvious.
You want something, while refusing to stipulate to another objective fact.Huey » 01 Feb 2023, 1:32 pm » wrote: ↑ Go ahead and explain why we are sheep…
You want the Op posted AGAIN, you can do it. I have already reposted it.
Last I checked a couple of rounds from an AR will go through serveral walls if it doesn't hit a stud depending upon the load in shotguns the bb's aren't likely to go through a wall with two sides of drywall.Skans » 01 Feb 2023, 1:14 pm » wrote: ↑ While this is true, it also is more likely to hit people and objects you don't intend on hitting. That Biden said was telling women to use a shotgun for defense because it is easier to use than a semiautomatic rifle.Blackvegetable » 01 Feb 2023, 1:33 pm » wrote: ↑ But what Biden said, as demonstrated, makes sense.
What Grifty said only makes sense in the context of his relationship with the Bleach Grifter...and it continues to have serious consequences..
Not with hollow points. Think about it. Every wall has 2 sheets of drywall. Typically a hollow-point won't have much penetrating power after going through 4 sheets of drywall. That's 2 interior walls, if it doesn't hit a stud.Nostradamus'omh » 01 Feb 2023, 1:37 pm » wrote: ↑ Last I checked a couple of rounds from an AR will go through serveral walls if it doesn't hit a stud depending upon the load in shotguns the bb's aren't likely to go through a wall with two sides of drywall.
So My instincts from my limited knowledge of mass times motion you are inaccurate to more than a few degrees or percentage points of probability.
No, I remember when he said the different comments I posted.Blackvegetable » 01 Feb 2023, 1:36 pm » wrote: ↑ You want something, while refusing to stipulate to another objective fact.
What do you struggle to grasp?
This is indisputably another propaganda blitz over a synthetic issue....both of you were stirred up by someone paid to play it up.
Neither of you will admit it.
Sheep.
Joe is one smart cookie. Let off two blasts in your DOUBLE barrel shot gun so you have an empty gun. NOW YOU ARE THINKING JOE!Huey » 01 Feb 2023, 12:34 pm » wrote: ↑ And on to something that was really said….seriously:
Joe advises women to buy a shotgun instead of an Ar 15. Ecause they are easier to shoot.

But, if you are shooting solids, then yes, it could penetrate more than that.
And, while 00 or 000 buckshot will not penetrate as far as a solid rifled projectile, the spread could will do more damage to your house.
