A double barreled shotgun is not a self or home defense weapon no matter what the old man says.
It will do great against a raging duck or a big old bunny.
If you use a shotgun for defense of any kind pumps are your best bet. Mossberg makes a dandy,the 590.
Personally I'm grabbing the Glock because it's always within reach. An AR is real close to the bed too.
