Donald Trump, the frontrunner for the Republican nomination for President in 2024, is calling for immediate de-escalation and peace in Ukraine.
It is a position that has set him apart from President Joe Biden, as well as any other GOP hopefuls thus far.
Trump released a pair of videos Thursday that outline his position on the war between Ukraine and Russia.
“The conflict in Ukraine is very dangerous, explosive, and escalating by the day,” he said. “Biden’s weakness and incompetence have brought us to the brink of nuclear war.”
“It’s far past the time for all parties involved to pursue a peaceful end to the war in Ukraine before this horrific catastrophe spirals out of control and leads to World War III,” added Trump.
“We must end this ridiculous war and demand peace in Ukraine now before it gets worse.”

China has satellites over this country,just as the US and Russia and several other countries also have spy satellites circling over one another.
So this balloon probably is not providing any information that the Chinese do not already possess. I imagine that the US Intel agencies have a good reason for not shooting it down.
The bit about how bits of it might fall and hurt someone seems pretty lame. Montana is mostly empty.

It's pretty clear that the Chinese are not going to punish Biden (or the US) if the balloon is shot down.
But I suggest that espionage is not something that any of you numbskull MAGAtwerps know the first thing about,and if they do not shoot it down,they have an excellent reason to not do so.
It is very unlikely that it would do much harm falling down in Montana.
Calling Biden a coward for not ordering it shot down is typical right wing nut job stupidity.
