The scam the Republican party has run on its members for more than a generation has been revealed for what it is. Yes there are still bigoted idiots. But they are a shrinking minority.
The push by Republican oligarchs for ever lower taxes regardless of the well-being of the people has been disclosed. Some will continue to vote against their own interest but the majority will not.

I know America will collapse someday. All empires do. However, I always hoped that it wouldn't be in my lifetime or my kids.
