My hometown banks don't charge foreign atm fees - though the foreign banks do.

From my experiences, Chase is the worst, followed by Wells Fargo.

They are all just awful. They take turns being the worst.

But if I had to identify an "all time" piece of ****, for my money, that would be wells fargo.

Long ago, when there were very few vets joining USAA,I was given the opportunity to join, and it really is a worthy organization.I have their credit card, but I do not use it much because I have another that gives me 2% back.I am not eligible for their car insurance

If you travel abroad,USAA is quite helpful getting you okayed to make ATM withdrawals abroad.

yep, I have over a credit rating between all agencies between 790 and 823 and wells fargo wouldn't give me a low interest car loan. Plausible deniability reason given. I won't take it personal. Nor wil I ever do business with them. Balance achieved.

Chase is raking me over the coals, but in due time I will refinance elsewhere to a lower interest rate in the next couple of months.

better to get even, than destroy everything in blind rage.

They do not consider you worthy.   They  will probably give you a loan of some type, but with inflation still around 5%,it would be unprofitable for  them to lend you money at 3%. That is a net loss,no matter what your rating is.

So... you actually expect a capitalist bank to give you a loan at below the rate of inflation?

Reckon how the Deplorable ****** knows who served and who did not.  I served six years, never deployed to Vietnam.  I'm what is called a Viernam Era Vet.

I do not need to be any sort of expert to know that no bank will make a loan that will lose it money.
