I'm good.  Since they are all one design you can interchange parts at will.  If you can't that means there is more than one design.  You can't have this both ways.

It is all good BV.  You have educated me on the issue.  It is so easy to convert a Sporter because it is all one design.

I don't need to read any sigs.  Although the citation does not say anything about ONE DESIGN you have convinced me.  All citations, even from the same source, that talks about all the differences in the design are wrong.

Reading back through three different threads touching on this subject it looks as if veggie man is trying his damnedest to take every possible position that can be taken in this debate so he can say he is right regardless.

can you summarize what he is claiming?

He will call it a retelling but he is claiming that the Original Colt M 16/Sporter family is all one design and that is what makes the Sporter a weapon designed for the battlefield, a weapon of war.

So if he is right that means the parts are completely interchangeable with no changes.

Well Dr Google, if they are all one design that means you can interchange parts at will with changes in the design having to be made.

Use those critical thinking skills you claim have.  This is also why you refuse to discuss the lowers or bolt carrier group.  Go ahead and google that.

I don't care what you think the citation says.  Nowhere in the citation or at the link are the words ONE DESIGN mentioned.  I care about what you think and the fact you are hiding behind the citations and your misinterpretations.  If your stand is it is one design but you can't interchange parts explain why you can't do that.
