How sad. I went to high school in the second half of the 1950s. It was so wonderful then. True, non-whites had not yet made many achievements in the area of civil rights but we were trying. Government can order such things but when left to the people it takes time. I mention the above because I believe it represented a social condition that eventually caused the times that we find ourselves in today. But the Super Bowl has become much more than just a racial contest. Wokeness seems to have caused some other evil. The Christians look at it and see Satanism. Is it? I don't know but I do know that I don't like it.
I used to watch the Super Bowl for the game while my wife watched it for the half time show. We don't watch it at all now. I have moved to European football and Canadian ice hocky. Those two don't seem to have been polluted by global leftism as much as American football has.
I can hope that we will all eventually grow out of this nonsense and that better times will come.
