The Chief's were going to go ahead at that point, pretty much regardless of the flag or not.

My issue with the call was that it negated any shot of the Eagles having time left after the Chief's scored to get the ball down the field after the fact and at least end the game on an exciting note.

The unnecessary flag effectively ended the game with a minute plus left. After the Chiefs got the first off the flag, they spent the last minute and some change trying not to score, as to run the clock out and win it with a field goal.

What was, up to that point, and exciting and entertaining game, ended flat as a pancake... because the official threw a flag that (I think) he really didn't need to throw.

That's my take on it, and I'm sticking to it.

Maybe they do witchcraft in Barbados? She might be trying to cast a spell on the audience?

It was a holding call.  If it was pass interference it would not have been called because the pass was overthrown and not catchable.

It was an automatic first down either way, which effectively ended the game at that point.

Defensive holding is probably one of the least called infractions in the game as well, which makes the fact that the ref thought it was a good time to call one, even worse.

As far as the call is concerned, late in a game, particularly a playoff or SuperBowl game, penalties typically have to be flagrant or at least glaringly clear. This was a borderline call. Accepted practice is that the officials "let them play" and let borderline calls go.

It was a bad call...we agree, no?

Reid understood winning the game was of paramount importance. In watching Eagles tape before the game Reid noticed Eagles defense wore black gloves. KC wore white jerseys. Reid knows the minor details that win games. Rihanna did nothing to help Reid win the game. It's all in the details.
You seem to consider yourself a genius for pointing out that the halftime show is unrelated to the results of the players on the field.
This is ALWAYS the case.

Seems pretty obvious to me if I were head coach of a super bowl playing football team at halftime I would be talking to the troops not watching Rihanna jump around The stadium

You people are hilarious

What the head coach and the rest of the coaching staff of a professional football team are typically doing during any half time is going over with the players, what's working, what isn’t working, what to keep doing, and what to do differently.

The suggestion that Andy Reid would be telling the team that they couldn't be watching the halftime show put on by a billionaire back recording artist is **** ridiculous racist nonsense perped by a **** racist prick.  This is the most stupid **** OP and stupid **** racist **** thread that I've ever seen in decades of hanging out in these joints.
