I drive through Overtown and Liberty City and Little Haiti regularly. I have never had any difficulty in any of those places and I see police cars everywhere all over Dade County. You do not know **** about Miami, or Black people anywhere. Just another worthless asshole racist. Don;t even bother to unhook the screen door.

When they aired 48hrs, Dade County was their best resource for showing crimes. Mostly black crime. Take a hint and a hike.

     If they're not peeling & eating bananas with their feet, I'm sure it's not because of a lack of effort... Laughable to see you trying the dip the rancid turds of O-Town, Little Haiti and Liberty City in chocolate, when everyone in that area knows they are drug-infested, Gang ridden, crime ridden, section 8 **** holes -- and staunch Democrat voting strongholds (well, the ones who haven't lost their voting rights do to felony convictions)... I've no doubt you can crusie those hoods -- because you probably blend in nicely.. You see, I happen to remember a time when the family would go to the Orange Bowl for Dolphin Games, and leave the windows down and doors unlocked to the family station wagon.... And then guess what happened?...  People just like yourself began to move in..

A black man named diamond dick sexually assaulted a white woman on an elevator. He was arrested and a white lynch mob came to the jail to kill him. The sheriff told them to leave and he wasn't gonna hand the guy over. The mob cooperated and left. 

Then a black man with a pistol was sighted by a cop also gathered around the jail, obviously preparing to defend diamond dick from the lynch mob. The cop decided this was dangerous and inappropriate and demanded the black guy hand the weapon over. Black guy refused. The cop tried to force it from him and the gun went off, hitting some other black guy. 

Then the blacks opened gire on the whites, killing some of them...8 if i remember correctly.

I had never read of this incident. So, I had to do some checking on this.  What I found out was:

• The story is that Dick Rowland tripped in an elevator, grabbed a white woman's arm and this was the alleged assault
• The white woman declined to prosecute, so she probably knew he just tripped and didn't intend to assault her.
• A white lynch mob came to the jail as you said.  The sheriff told them to leave and apparently they did.
• The rest of your story is about what I could find as well. 

So, my take-away was that the white lynch mob was wrong, but they were correctly diffused.  The armed black man F-ed up and found out. The armed black mob probably didn't know what was actually happening and jumped on their triggers killing whites.  The well armed whites retaliated, understandably so. 

I'd agree, there was more to the scenario than just a bunch of whites out to kill blacks.

They have always been a bunch of whiners. Crying about the injustices done to them. And its worse these days- because the MEDIA is feeding them!
i feel like saying SHUT UP!!!
If they didn't keep whining- maybe no one would even notice they were black. 
Course now- they seem to be the ones causing all the crimes!
I have no clue how they have the time.... always getting their hair done. LOL mostly the men. HA

Definitely not. It’s got one of the highest rates of violence in the US; gangs, drugs and the crime associated with all three is rife. Spring Break is also ROWDY.

So there are many neighborhoods, even today, where you shouldn’t be walking around. Especially not at night. Overtown and Liberty City both have the highest violent crime rate in Miami and should be avoided at all times. 

There’s also an issue with homelessness, with many shanty towns set up on overhead passes. So walking overhead passes should also be avoided.
