We can bend to China to our will at any time with a threat to withdraw from our trade relations with them they are completely dependent on the US and European markets for their economy.
They cannot tolerate 15% unemployment.

You apparently didn't read the piece there was a vote in Parliament that made the so-called coup legitimate.
The Russians didn't like it but that doesn't make it invalid.
