It says it's illegal, therefore it's illegal everywhere.
obviously, states can, and do ignore federal law and just as obviously, the feds can and do ignore the fact that they do.golfboy » 05 Mar 2023, 7:56 pm » wrote: ↑ It says it's illegal, therefore it's illegal everywhere.
The problem is that no one is enforcing the law, not that States have the ability to overrule Federal Law.
What part of that did you not understand?
Weird you won't answer my question. Clearly you're not smarter than a 5th grader.
Can State Law contradict Federal Law?
Good, so once again you admit that you're wrong about felons owning guns in America.maineman » 05 Mar 2023, 8:00 pm » wrote: ↑ obviously, states can, and do ignore federal law and just as obviously, the feds can and do ignore the fact that they do.
your point, beyond the one where you thought that my link only talked about pardons because you can't **** read because of your brain defect?????
because voting is a states rights issue, not a federal one. If states want to include felons to their voting roles they can...and the feds won't do **** about it... just like if a state wants to give a felon who served his time the right to own a gun, the feds won't do **** about that... and if states want to let people buy marijuana, the feds won't do **** about that either.golfboy » 05 Mar 2023, 8:05 pm » wrote: ↑ Good, so once again you admit that you're wrong about felons owning guns in America.
Ignoring federal law doesn't change the federal law.
It is illegal for a felon to own or possess a gun in America.
Now, back to the original. Why should this be different for voting?
Oh, so States can change Federal elections to allow 16 year olds to vote?maineman » 05 Mar 2023, 8:16 pm » wrote: ↑ because voting is a states rights issue, not a federal one. let one try and see how the feds react.golfboy » 05 Mar 2023, 8:17 pm » wrote: ↑ Oh, so States change Federal elections to allow 16 year olds to vote?
and if a state let 16 year olds vote in state and local elections, the feds wouldn't say **** about that either....golfboy » 05 Mar 2023, 8:17 pm » wrote: ↑ Oh, so States can change Federal elections to allow 16 year olds to vote?
Poor mainbitch... still doesn't understand that States can't contradict Federal Law, which says Felons cannot own guns.maineman » 05 Mar 2023, 8:22 pm » wrote: ↑ and if a state let 16 year olds vote in state and local elections, the feds wouldn't say **** about that either....
and states rights morons like you would choke on your own vomit.
Fact 1 is correct.maineman » 05 Mar 2023, 8:21 pm » wrote: ↑ let one try and see how the feds react.
Until then, you're irrelevant "what if" is just that.
FACT: states can let citizens buy cannabis and the feds don't do **** about it.
FACT: states can let felons buy firearms and the feds don't do **** about it.
FACT: states can let felons VOTE and the feds don't do **** about it.
And here I thought that all you MAGAts were states rights proponents! what the ****???
If you have any instances of the federal government preventing states from allowing felons to purchase firearms in accordance with the restrictions of their state laws, this would be a great time to produce them.
lol. Once again, because you got caught with your pants down, I'm supposed to provide you with proof of something?maineman » 05 Mar 2023, 8:38 pm » wrote: ↑ If you have any instances of the federal government preventing states from allowing felons to purchase firearms in accordance with the restrictions of their state laws, this would be a great time to produce them.
except felons who've been clean for 15 years in South Dakota. Feds don't say **** about them. Feds don't say **** about folks from buying weed all over America. what DO you have, other than aphasia, and dyslexia, you brain damaged moron?golfboy » 05 Mar 2023, 8:44 pm » wrote: ↑ lol. Not how it works, *******.
Federal law prevents felons from owning and purchasing weapons.
That law is routinely enforced daily. The FBI is responsible for pursuing anyone that lies on a firearm purchase form, like Hunter Biden.
Show me ONE felon in South Dakota who is legally buying guns.maineman » 05 Mar 2023, 8:48 pm » wrote: ↑ except felons who've been clean for 15 years in South Dakota. Feds don't say **** about them. Don’t you feel kind of guilty taking advantage of the intellectually disabled?golfboy » 05 Mar 2023, 8:57 pm » wrote: ↑ Show me ONE felon in South Dakota who is legally buying guns.
Sorry about spilling the beans on Jamie Brinkman @Str8tEdge :(:(:(ghostsofSoL » 24 Feb 2023, 7:05 pm » wrote: ↑ He's the one that told me about these "liberal forum" sites and I visited here maybe a year ago? I didn't really have the heart to come back when I realized how much trouble he was in.
He fell off the wagon sometime after Biden was installed and was diverting Ativan from his patients. Apparently even the FBI gets involved if the amount is large enough.....
As some of you may know, he had a lengthy criminal record early in his life and ended up pleading guilty, spent almost a year in prison.
As a result, of course he lost his RN license, lost his apartment, belongings....He's currently in a half way house which ironically is the same one he went to the first time he sobered up.
The reason why I'm posting this, kind of for him, is would you guys help him out financially if he started one of those gofundme pages?
He could definitely use the financial help to get back on his feet.
I do want to say and hopefully he won't find out I said this but, I am concerned over his new girlfriend? Jamie Brinkman? There's something just odd about her and I don't trust her.
So, I'll try and stay active enough to keep up with replies. He would be on himself but he lost all his passwords and the only way he could even get on is the library and he just felt that was too cliche for him.
Thanks in advance!
Chain of command is only as strong as its weakest link. What is chain of commands greatest strength? Power of suggesting reasonable doubt. So remove reasonable doubt.maineman » 05 Mar 2023, 8:00 pm » wrote: ↑ obviously, states can, and do ignore federal law and just as obviously, the feds can and do ignore the fact that they do.
