If you don't want me to denigrate the naval service of your dead son, the very BEST way to do that is to not denigrate the naval service of ME. Seems like common sense. Just sayin'.

in the comment I responded to, you were talking about “ANYONE that committed suicide was a ******”
if you want to justify this because of some argument you have on a message board, and disregard anyone that has faced this terrible ordeal, this is not going to be pretty

I understand and may have been overly sweeping in my response. I get it that suicide is a terrible outcome for any family and, barring reasons for me to think otherwise, I would offer nothing but sympathy. However, if the parent of the suicidal child previously poisoned the well by questioning my service and accusing me of stolen valor... all bets are off. I don't have any beef with prostitutes or mail order brides like @maineman 's wife. It should all be legal and taxed accordingly.
