Why not, when the LEO's initiated the violence?

so you are saying that LEO's who are authorized to legally use tear gas to dispel protesters are somehow fair game for citizens and, if any LEO does use tear gas, they are legitimate targets for violence from any citizens and that such violence is justified and legal?

I am not the one who is embarrassed here.

You just got done saying that citizens who are tear gassed can legally attack the LEO's who use that tear gas.  I am sure that the Boise police chief would disagree with you.

They had no legal right to use tear gas on peaceful protesters who were there under permit.
I'll guarantee you didn't even know they had a permit to be there.

So...according to Golfie, the lawyer.....LEO's on the scene do not have the authority to use tear gas on protesters if they determine they are less than peaceful?

And if they do, the citizens who are tear gassed are within their rights to attack the LEO's?

LEO's are de facto authorized to use tear gas when their incident commander issues them canisters of it.

I don't believe cops using tear gas and flashbangs on peaceful protesters was warranted. I also do not believe that the correct response to this injustice is rioting.

Johnson isn’t a Republican or Trump supporter. He voted for Biden. His former boss, Yogananda Pittman, received praise from Nancy Pelosi. As Tucker noted, Pittman boasted about how her department saved the country though no one in the chain of command appeared to give their officers much of anything regarding support. Pittman later became chief of security for UC Berkeley, not far from Pelosi’s congressional district.

Johnson was never asked to testify before the January 6 committee, maybe because he would have exposed how Capitol Police were an unorganized and unprepared mess that day.
