If you said "yes", it might have bought you a few more days in the hospital.  Here is what I have come to realize.  You are totally screwed if you ever go to the hospital.  There is a real good chance you will end up dead.  Both of my parents were killed by medical procedures they had at a hospital.  Way too many people I know went in and never came out; or barely made it out. 

Doctors will always over-medicate their patients. Anesthesiologists scree the death-pooch all of the time.  That's what they do - put your body in a state of near death with poison. They assign 9 doctors to you and not one of them knows what the other is doing.  You don't even know how or why all of those doctors got involved in your situation.

A simple thing like a Colonoscopy that once could be done in the doctor's office with a simple scope shoved up your *** while you were awake, now requires a anesthesia and a hospital and extra doctors.  It's all F-ed up.  Medical "procedures" = Death.  Hospitals = Death.  Drugs = Death.

That is some opinion I must say.

I personally don't believe in the "incremental doping down" of America at all. I do, however, believe that people are gonna do what people want to do, and if they want to be stupid and fry their brains and bodies with chemicals, then have at it.

Just like if a woman really wants to kill their unborn child, then they're gonna get it done, one way or the other.

I don't believe either is right, but I'm not the one that has to live with those decisions or their consequences, they are.

In short, I don't believe in trying to control anyone, which is counter to what you just expressed.

accidental death is now the 4th leading cause of death, after heart attack, stroke and cancer

And youre right.. its from medical mishaps.

Much what you say is true, but a colonoscopy can be painful enough for partial anesthesia...Versed. And as far as simple is concerned, not quite. It's not uncommon to have the colon pierced during the procedure. Bad "****" happens. Peritonitis, septic shock, internal bleeding, etc. Maybe death.

In short, this nation is already too addicted to drugs.  Recreational drugs and pharmaceuticals. Chemists will develop a formula for a drug that gets a person high and immediately chronically addicted.  When that happens, a large portion of our country will be lost to perpetual addiction and held hostage by the drug makers and distributors.

We've already seen what corporations are willing to do and pay to gain control over their computer systems from some foreign, 2-bit hackers.   Well, I'm here to tell you that you ain't seen nothing yet.

The only prevention for such a drug taking down an entire nation, is to get its citizens used to living life without chemical crutches. We are weak, and I know it.  If I know it, others know it as well and are working on exploiting that weakness.

I had a colonoscopy, in-office procedure and without any anesthesia when I was in my early 20's.  The big, fat red-headed butt-doctor even took a couple of snips for a biopsy.  I winced a little, but the guy was pretty cool and let me look at the scope up my own asshole!  After he took the ***-snake out I got dressed and drove myself home.  Bad **** doesn't happen if you have a guy who is highly skilled with the ***-snake doing your colonoscopy.  And if it does, the hospital is close enough. 

Of course, the worst part was the colo-cleanse.  It's like projectile vomiting out of your asshole.  That wasn't pleasant.

We tried.. my alt docs called... no one would let us talk to him. My last conversation with him was  .... Don't come down here! -he was gone!
and then  -they lost all his info-  His credit cards- keys -phone?  never found it... if you get sick? give your crap over real fast to a trusted luv one or a friend... total NIGHTMARE! or dont carry it with you!

I keep various antibiotics around just so I won't have to get a doctor involved. Even ordered a bunch from Fishmox. Fish antibiotics.  But, they are the same for humans; just don't need a prescription.
