You and I essentially believe the same thing then. Perhaps in different ways, but I too think that is ok. I believe in God as Creator, and much more; that we are all connected, and that we should all try to shed some negativity. I only post because I have "known" a lot of these people on this forum for about 15 years, and I wanted to update about my life.
I am ok with that.
It's a good lesson for me.
We don't all have to think alike.
It doesn't make us any less connected.
Negativity is a hard one!
When we become entrenched in our thought patterns, it makes it hard to hear anything different.
That's where the love comes in.
When we practice love and acceptance, it changes the wiring of the brain eventually.
Not that I don't ever get mad or nervous or upset, I just try to get over it sooner, or try to look at it from a different angle.
One of the most important things I have learned, is that I do believe in God/Creator, whatever you choose to call it.
I don't have the fear I used to have.
I feel connected to everything, and everyone around me.
Oh, one more thing. Perhaps you should change your name from "Annoyed Liberal" to "Enlightened Liberal". Just a thought???

Hi AL! Glad to hear you have found new and exciting interests. I have never considered you a progressive ideologue so it's not shocking to me that you buried the vestiges of partisan politics. It's all just entertainment for the crowd, an all consuming opiate for the masses. At the end of the day both parties are owned by monied interests and working in conjunction, not conflict, towards a shared vision. Not sure that road map is in the best interests of the citizenry but there is still hope.

At this point I don't even have a firm grasp on what they are.
I know the concept, but I need to learn more.
I have read that we access them often accidentally, but we don't realize that's what it is.
I find that very fascinating.

Apathy is the opposite of love.
You are right about duality, but it means something different to me.
There is light and dark.
Positive and negative.
Love and lack of love.
But, duality doesn't necessarily mean good and bad.
It means balance always.
Duality is always about finding a balance.
When I say I always come from love, that doesn't mean I don't have anger, jealousy, or resentment in me.
It just means that I make a conscious decision how to react and interact.
