No...he was indicted on the basis of the evidence showing him inside the building.

With footage showing cops holding doors open for protesters one could argue they were invited in for a rambunctious tour.

BINGO!
That's the entire argument in a nutshell, and the fact is that IT WAS AGAINST THE LAW for the prosecution to withhold exculpatory evidence from the defense. And the video evidence showing how Capitol Police HELD OPEN THE DOORS for those demonstrators WAS WITHHELD, AND THAT'S A CRIME THAT WILL FORCE ANY JUDGE TO GRANT THEM A NEW TRIAL!

And after that's been granted and they're found to be not guilty and released, those send to prison will have dozens of lawyers lining up to file suit against the prosecution for the time they were illegally imprisoned.

Once again, TAXPAYERS will be the ones on the hook to pay off those dozens of lawsuits to the tune of probably hundreds of millions of dollars, all thanks to the corrupt Democrats involved who should ALL be thrown in jail, together with Cheney and Kinzinger for their part in it!

One of the Capitol police said he was left high and dry when he called for more support. That's because the entrapment was planned well ahead of time and they didn't want anything to spoil their plans.

I watched that interview as well.
What was missing was the identification of those superiors who did not respond to those repeated and urgent calls and NEED TO BE QUESTIONED AND FIRED for not responding to an emergency AS IS THEIR JOB!

And when THEIR corrupt asses are threatened with prosecution and/or fired from their job for dereliction of duty, they will then testify as to precisely who gave them their orders.  And I've got little doubt that we'll see Pelosi or some other leading Democrat at the top of that food chain!

That black lady cop who didn't respond got a gig at Berkley...right outside of Pelosi's district.

And the killer of Ashli Babbitt gets a medal rather than being arrested and charged with murder for shooting an unarmed woman who posed no threat to him whatsoever!

They knew he was innocent of what he'd been charged with... Liz Cheney and Adam Schiff also knew, and they gladly sent this man to prison based on outrageous lies... His defense Lawyer had him sign a horrible Plea Agreement, which states he cannot appeal his sentence... He agreed to the plea for fear of getting a much longer sentence, not knowing that video of his movements which proved his claims of innocence existed and was being withheld from his defence....

And even though this colossal lie has been exposed, the Left STILL continues to repeat it..

Yep...the left never met a lie they didn't like.

The lawsuits won't matter, Biden is gonna bankrupt the country on multiple screw-ups.
