Three year old girls shoots and kills her four year old sister with a handgun just lying around the house.

Wrong.
a fire arm didn't kill that child.....
The parent's neglect... did.....
Period.
And that's the difference between your kind and my kind....
you will always blame the gun.....
What kind of military training did you get out of the NAVY..?...because I am starting to wonder how a guy that claims to be NAVY does not even show an inkling of the responsibility of an operator of a firearm. ...

I guess if there is a silver lining to take away from this tragedy, it would be that killing the children of Texas gun nuts before THEY themselves can procreate deepens the gene pool ever so slightly.

I would think that the parents of those two girls should be imprisoned for manslaughter, if not second degree murder.

What does anyone else think?

The parents who owned the loaded gun that the child got a hold of should be responsible for the deaths. IMHO, I'd call it manslaughter. Same as if you leave a child in a running car and the kid figures out how to put it in drive and mash the gas.  I really see no difference.  Keep your dangerous instruments away from kids; or you will be held responsible.

Hey, dumb as a rock ****, NRA focuses on training in firearm safety as a #1 priority.
Would you like to discuss non-NRA member thug *** shootings involving children as well?

I think I'm not surprised that you managed to find joy in a three year old being killed because you might disagree with the kids parents politically.

That seems to be your M.O.

I would send my 2 daughters to listen to  your know knowledge.

joy?  Hardly.  I always try to look for the silver lining in any tragedy.  The death of a FOUR year old at the hands of her THREE year old sister is terrible.  In the midst of that terrible sorrowful situation, I point out that there may be somewhat of a silver lining.

And I have absolutely no idea what the parents' political believes are.  I disagree with them only insofar as they are profoundly - hopefully found to be criminally - negligent in the way they maintain and secure their firearms.

From your source...

Firearm-related injury recently surpassed motor vehicle crashes to become the leading cause of death among people 1 to 19 years old in the US, according to a 2022 paper published in The New England Journal of Medicine. In that, the US stands alone among world powers.

That age group includes 18 and 19 years olds, which not only aren't children, but are most likely gang bangers and other criminal elements in the urban jungles shooting each other.

Why do you lefties always have to be so damn disingenuous?

Yes

You are citing a stat that includes 18 and 19 year olds in the count, and trying to pass them off as "little kids", when it's simply not the case.

That's disingenuous.

The retarded 'War on some Drugs' that I/my f@ckheaded republic#nt puppet politicians support is a huge factor here.

I truly wonder if he served.  If he did, he apparently lied when taking his oath.

Before the 80s, NRA was also one of the biggest advocates of gun control.  But since then, It's been about marketing guns and profit.
