So, you're ok with the Biden administration taking tens of billions of your tax dollars to bail out billionaires like Oprah and billion dollar businesses like Roku?

The fact is that Trump would have NEVER let the country get into this position, and you can't prove otherwise with your idiotic theories!

Agreed!
And the only customers who get hurt would be the ones who had over $250K on deposit with them!  In other words, all millionaires and billionaires!  That means people struggling to survive with Biden's inflation already would watch as it continues to get worse so billionaires can continue donating to Democrats!

Bailing any of them out now sends them the message that banks can make as risky loans as they'd like, because now the Fed has set the precedent that they'll be covered, leaving them free to take on every high-risk investment that comes down the pike!

Leaving these two to fail would be a smack upside the head for every other bank to be more cautious with the money entrusted to them, or risk losing everything!

Hey stupid!
Bank stocks are up because Biden has promised to bail them out when their investments fail!  Suddenly, bank failure is no longer a concern for any investor, thanks to the idiot YOU elected!  And it guarantee that there will be plenty more!

I don't know, but I am not going to say this Friday. However, I feel in the Fridays following, it will have begun. Economist and billionaires have been saying that this would be coming for the past 2 years.

Publicly traded companies do the same thing if the news is bad...they wait until late Friday to report news that investors won't like.

Why wait until Monday to stress us out when they can stress out through the weekend also.

Rich individuals don't put that kind of money in savings accounts in little **** banks.  And, even if they did, they would spread it out among lots of little **** banks.  Still, some larger corporations could run way more than $250K through an operating account.  They may need some kind of private insurance to insure amounts over $250K.

Once again we'll have struggling taxpayers bailing out billionaire depositors like Oprah (lost half a billion) and Roku (lost $487 million) because THEY CONTRIBUTE THE BIGGEST AMOUNT IN DONATIONS TO DEMOCRATS!  They WILL NOT let them bear the responsibility they deserve!

And the result will be another HUGE round of inflation, an economy that will be thrown into a deep recession causing even MORE banks to fail, and they'll be given even more bailouts!

Is there anyone who doesn't realize how this works by now?

The responsibility has to be blamed at least in part by the fed.  Why doesn't the FDIC see what risky investments these banks take, and provide them with limits on how much they are permitted to risk in order to continue being insured by them?  Wouldn't a private insurance company refuse to insure a car with no brakes, or a home built on a swamp?  The fed allows them to take unreasonable risks because they WANT them buying up their bonds so they can continue their wild spending, as Biden has shown us for the past 2+ years!

Government is the problem, when you approach $1 Trillion dollars in interest payments, you might be insolvent.

It sounds like Oprah could stand to lose over half a billion if the fed doesn't bail out SVP depositors, but it doesn't indicate if that's due to personal or business losses.  So far, she the only individual I've heard that was dumb enough to put so much into one bank.

Sounds like an investment, as in she bought stock in this bank.  Might even sit on the Board.  No one puts half a billion dollars in a **** little bank.   But, then again, I never thought Oprah was much smarter than Joe Biden.

No. I am not glad the senile pedo is in charge.

Do you even know how immature you sound. Rep = bad. Dimocrats = good. How the hell do you expect anyone to take you seriously?
