I would love to return to Morelia and Santa Clara in Michoacan, and once again go horseback up a mountain where millions of Monarchs winter, draping the trees with a living insect curtain - but since my soujourn there in 2016, it has fallen into the hands of the cartels. Mexico is getting swallowed up, it seems. I was in Mexico in July and again in January, and will be there again in July - but not for pleasure.
At this point, if those were my only vacation choices, **** Mexico. It's a nation of wonderful folks in the non-tourist areas, but you never know when the cartels are going to suddenly take over an area. And in the tourist areas, it's a nation of diligent, telented, committed thieves who all have each other's backs because they are all in on it. Even the priests and nuns. Robbing yanks simply is not a sin or a crime in the touristed areas of Mexico.

Those are those ones that I know of. I'm pretty sure there have been more.

I'm just a few hours from the Smokies and a day's drive from either the Gulf or the East Coast so we've kind of got the best of both worlds.
Good answer. Don't know much about guns but this one seems to do the trick.

He's a habitual liar too.

Yeah, except Reagan was clueless. It was all poppi bush - former head of CIA, murder of JFK, first ambassador to China, Skull and Bones member, stone cold killer, Bubba Clinton's godfather and button man, best friend and fellow bonesman of MK Ultra-victim John Hinkley's dad. Oliver North didn't answer to Reagan - he answered to Bush.Trumprules » 14 Mar 2023, 7:24 pm » wrote: ↑ Actually the cartels were started under reagans CIA and got start up funds and free access to the west coast of the United States on the ok of the Reagan drug deals for guns Iran contra.
Right. And when people say why can't the government declare war on the cartels they don't realize that the corruption rises to the highest levels of the administration.Cannonpointer » 14 Mar 2023, 7:14 pm » wrote: ↑ That, and the fundamental and deep-seated crookedness of the entire society, cops inclusive, within the highly touristed areas.
