This is why I am so distrustful of all media outlets. I have read, from what I thought to be reliable sources, that the oligarchs made Putin. He is just a face for their citizens, and the world, to see. Like the US, the president is a puppet of big banks and other lobbyists. Likewise, Putin is the guy that takes orders from their billionaires. Everything I have read has pointed to Putin being the puppet.
