My experience is mixed. Garmin brand new was already out of date. Back then.
Maybe they're better now.
But the on-board stuff is live and reacts to construction, traffic, etc.

My Garmin does all of that - real-time traffic, re-rout based on traffic problems, road hazards, re-estimates time of arrival, etc.

Garmin is just a map. When up-to-date, everything's Jake.

Yeah, but Garmin is easy to use and reacts much faster to your actual location than say Waze.

Plus, Garmin is the Fo-Schizzle in Boating.  They really do know what they are doing.

I have the old steam-powered Garmin.
All that new stuff is on my 2020 truck nav.
Don't find much use for the 2008 Garmin (except out in the woods I guess).

All about timing when evolving in series parallel displacement life doesn't exceed being alive now.

I just saw this thread again and it made me wonder, how did it end, did you get selected for jury duty?
